What is the seating availability and location for those in an ECV at the Nemo show?? How early do you need to arrive in order to get this seating?? We are traveling the 3rd week in Oct.

We just saw the Finding Nemo show last week, traveling with a wheelchair.
The wheelchair/ECV seats are in back row of the main seating. There is an aisle and then there are some rows (I didn't count, but less than 10 rows) behind the back aisle.
I tried to count on our way out and it appeared that there was probably space for about 16-18 ECVs or wheelchairs. In addition, there was space on the side aisles where someone using an ECV would be able to transfer to the theater seat and then the CM could move the ECV somewhere else. We arrived in line about 30 minutes before the show started. We were in the regular line for more than half of the time, then everyone went thru a gate area and at that point we were directed to a wheelchair gate with our whole party. The person there asked if DD could transfer and then she radio'd ahead to a CM inside to say she had a 'non-transfer', so my guess is that they try to have people transfer out as much as possible to save spots for people like my DD who can't transfer.

The park map says to arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled show time for seating. I think that might be when they open the doors and begin seating.

There are also some seats in the middle of the seating area and also the front row on the right side of the room. If you remember the lay out from when it was Tarzan Rocks it is exactly the same. Just with walls and AC.

Thanks. We sat in the front seats for Tarzan Rocks a few times. I didn't see the wheelchair seats in Finding Nemo and the only down from where we sat for Nemo included steps. Do you know where the ramp is?

Just a warning though- even if the whole theater doesn't fill they may run out of wheelchair room. So I would get there in plenty of time.

I agree.
I thought it was the park maps that say to come at least 45 minutes before showtime, but I just looked at the map and it's not there. It WAS on the schedule of showtimes that we picked up with the map.

The show we went to was totally full; although there were some empty wheelchair/ECV spots, there were no seats empty next to them for a companion to sit in. The CMs filled them with people about 3-4 minutes before the show began. There was also a small amount of standing room only area along the back wall behind us.

How can they safely do this? If there was a need for an evacuation, who is going to be able to bring all the ECVs and wheelchairs back to the people who need them? This is not a good policy for WDW to have, IMO. The chairs/ECVs need to be right next to the people who need them, they cannot be blocking an exit, and there has to be plenty of space for people to go around them.

For the middle seats they take you in across the room and outside. Then around some ramps outside and back in. For the front seats they do the same but have you take another ramp to get there and through a door next to the stage.
When we went they asked us if we wanted to be seated up front or not. we were like the 4 wc party back and about the 50th party overall. when we got into line to wait we started over by dinorama.
