So I'm 7 days away from WDW and I just broke a few toes  I saw someone else recently posted the same sort of thread because she broke her foot and you kind folks told her to rent an ECV through an outside company. I have a few questions though:

1) we are renting a minivan (a few little kids, a few offsite things) so can I still make renting an ECV work? I know the WDW transportation system is set up for ECVs but I dont know how often I'd be taking a bus, tram, or boat.

2) We'll be in a 1 bedroom villa at BW. Will there be enough room in the foyer for the ECV and a double jogging stroller?? Do the resorts have rooms that are set up with a larger entrance area just for parking ECVs?

Thanks!!

First of all, you should have plenty of space in the villa however the foyer area probably won't hold both the double stroller and ECV unless the ECV is a smaller model. There aren't any accessible rooms with more foyer space, in fact an accessible room with roll in shower will have less room in the interior as the bathroom must be made larger to accomodate the adaptations. When you rent the ECV tell the vendor you will be having a mini van and want to be able to bring it with you. There's actually less space in the rear of a minivan than in a car with trunk so you'd need an ECV that breaks down into smaller pieces and easily reassembles.---Kathy
