I just got back from a great trip and wanted to offer up this little tidbit. I offer this only to help, not as a knock to anyone, but if you are not used to using an ECV, learn how to use it in reverse. I didn't see a billion people on them this time around, but a good deal of the users didn't seem very familar with how to use them, and almost none of these people were able to use them in reverse. There were lots of places I saw where people had to back up on the ECV and took several tries to do it and needed someone guiding them through it. So you may be able to save yourself some frustration, and frustration on the parts of other people who may be riding with you particularly on buses and boats if you get comfortable with being able to back up on an ECV.

And sometimes, the bus drivers ARE NOT cooperative. For this very reason when it comes to loading on the busses or boats backwards, I, personally, have my husband do it. The monorail is the only place where I find it easy because the CMs clear the area around and stop pedestrian traffic.
Now we stay at Epcot resorts more often so we can avoid buses as much as possible!
