ECV Etiquette Question

Now we all know we tip the guy who carries our luggage, pushes us around the airport, etc. Do you tip the person who drops off your ECV? How much do you tip if you do? I don't want to look like an idiot if I don't, but I don't want to overtip either if I decide to. What does everyone else do? Thanks.

With the exception of Randy's, all of the rental locations drop the ECVs at Bell Services so you will never see them. And as for Randy's, most of the people working there are either well paid or members of his family (or both). I've been to his store a couple of times.

So, I take it that tipping for Randy's is not customary and I will look like my elderly grandmother if I try to do it? (She tipped everyone!) OK. Thanks for the answer Cheshire. I just wanted to make sure I was not going to commit an etiquette faux pas.

You're welcome. I just figure that if you tip your hairstylist, your waiter, the bell hop, the mousekeeper, etc. that maybe you should tip him, especially if I get really good service! After all, he's coming all the way to my resort and making sure everything works and teaching me how to work it. This is my first time renting an ECV, so maybe I'll put $10 in my pocket and if the service rocks, I'll give it to him.

Maybe we can all get together and come to some sort of consensus on this? After all, I need all the good karma I can get these days!
