Hi, friends! :grouphug:

My aunt who is traveling with me has never played mini-golf in her entire life, and really wants to on our upcoming trip in December. I, however, use an ECV and am worried about accessibility at Fantasia Gardens and WinterSummerland. I have a hard time picturing them as being very ECV-friendly.

I can stand and walk long enough to take my turns, but I would need to be able to sit and ride between the holes. Is this even going to be possible at either location?

Also, with the ECV, that would mean I need to take a bus from our resort to the mini-golf locations. Those are bus routes I'm not even a tiny bit familiar with.

Worst case scenario, I will send her and my uncle over to play, and I will kick back at the hotel and chill-out on my own. (Which wouldn't bother me at all, as I've done the solo WDW trip thing before and loved it.) I just would like to know ahead of time if it's even an option for me to go with them.

TIA! :goodvibes

I cannot find a definitive answer, but I am wanting to say that someone told me they were able to do Fantasia Gardens with their child in a wheelchair.

DH and I were at Winter Summerland on 3/8. To be honest, I really didn't pay attention much to the walkway between holes, but I do remember noticing that there was a curb cut-out in the area around each hole so that a person in a wheelchair or ECV could actually go onto the "green", and if they made the hole area accessible, I would imagine you could drive an ECV between holes as well. As far as bus routes, Winter Summerland is adjacent to the Blizzard Beach parking lot, so take a Blizzard Beach bus; the golf entrance is just a few dozen yards beyond the waterpark entrance. Fantasia Gardens is near the Swan, so you take the bus there but then it's about a 5-10 minute walk which includes crossing a moderately busy road without a traffic light. If you don't care which course you play, I'd definitely go with Winter Summerland for transportation convenience.
