Just an FYI: For those of you who can't quite swing the cost of the GF or SS spas, there is an alternative that I've used before and just booked again for my mother and myself for our upcoming December trip. It's the spa at the Buena Vista Palace in DTD (it's the 27 story hotel that used to be Wyndham Palace.) You do not have to stay at the hotel to use the spa.

I stayed there last Thanksgiving and used their spa which was quite nice and significantly less expensive than the Disney spas which made it affordable for us. They have a special where you can order gift certificates for the remainder of this year and the coming year. The gift certificates are for individual and a variety of combinations of spa services and include an 18% gratuity. For example, the packages I purchased have a 50 minute swedish massage, 50 minute royal pedicure and 25 minute traditional manicure and all gratuities for $165. I only used this spa one other time during my last mini-trip to WDW over Thanksgiving 2004, but they were excellent, nice facilities and did a good job both with my services and with helping my elderly mother. Very relaxing :cloud9:

Here's a link to their spa page. To see the gift certificate options, click on the peach colored "Spa Gift Certificates Now Available" box:

Michelle thanks so much. We talked about using the spa last time we went to Disney till we seen the PRICES!! And that quickly got nixed. But this looks like a far better alternative.

They have a nice salon as part of the spa also. And the robes are very comfy.
