Eco friendly TB

I think you are all aware that a lot of things are becoming eco friendly nowadays, so why not the TB?
You can share you eco successes (Biked somewhere instead of drove, ect)I will also have a petition against plastics here, meaning that you agree to use plastics less often,( and recycle when possible)

Well I know that at Yak and Yeti they use paper straws. But the only problem is that it gets very flimsy if you don't finish your drink very fast. And yes I do believe that we should be doing more "Green" stuff for the earth. But I do not believe in Global Warming. I will stop right there because it will make a huge post if I do right it.

I am so with you. I want to go green, but I don't believe in global warming.

I've been walking alot more places and when it come to driving me and my friends carpool, so there are less cars on the road. I recycle anything that can possibly be, and I turn off and unplug anything thats not in use. I brush my teeth WITHOUT the water running and I buy eco-friendly / stuff made out of recycled material, like tote bags, wallets, and even some tee-shirts. WOOT for going green.

Yay!!!! Today I watered but when I watered I took 2 buckets, so I could catch the water dripping and water other plants!

i was in a club that we did this and every time we did something good our leader'd say 'i hope we all got warm fuzzies from that!'

anyway, i bring my own waterbottles that i can wash and re use at home instead of plastic-o ones from walmart

I would walk places, but I live near very busy roads and highways, so walking places rather then driving is not 100% possible just yet.

I do recylce paper and turn the water off while I brush my teeth. I try to take shorter showers and always try to remember to shut the light off when I leave a room.

I carpool to places and use flourescent lightbulbs throughout my house. I also charge electronics while I'm able to notice that they're finished, shut down my computer every night, and plug in my videogames only when I play them.

I try to do as much as I can to help the environment. Its always been an important cause for me. We should do something like the Teen Board games, but "green style". Like have challenges every week, maybe like "How many times can we ride our bikes instead of driving in cars?" or something. We would have to be honest of course.

we had to watch "an inconveniant truth" in science. i nearly went insane! so... i put my head down. my teacher screams 'sophie! what do you think you doing? have you lost your mind?' me being the kind of person who found a funny phrase online, and wanting to use it for EVER decided it was "the time." so i replied. "um, i decided i dont watch. i really dont want to be brain washed." and then, the AMAZING PHRASE i found. "and actully i didnt loose my mind. i sold it on ebay."

i had been DIEING to say that phrase for months. and it was finally my time to use it! turns out my teacher didnt find it funny. but my class was laughing hystericly. and turns out, the principal didnt think it was funny. he called my parents and gave me 5 demerites.

when my parents got home from work, they thought it was the funniest thing EVER. we laugh at it now. i guess u sorta had to be there to find it funny.


yes. we should go green tho. we dont want our planet to be poluted and a horrible place to live. i actully bought a elmo shirt today at walmart that says think green.

that is a good idea about the challenges because every little thing that we do can help the enviorment.

I'm trying to buy eco-friendly everything now, all the clothes I buy now, must be made of organic materials, I don't buy anything from brands that use sweatshops either...
I never drive if I don't have to, I walk, ride a bike, or use public transportation. I also eat food from the garden instead of buying it from the store, or I buy it locally grown.
There's a ton more things I do...
