Hi,

We headed to EC on the morning of the 25th and since we got so much done on the 23rd we took today at our leisure.

We took the resort bus from POR to EC. Once again the bus had plenty of seats at our stop but at the main "south depot" stop the bus filled to standing room only.

We arrived at the bus stop at EC at 9:37am and we headed to the entrance. The have reconfigured the security bag check area since we were last here in January. We thought this was a good thing.

Even though we are used to the Live a Legacy monuments by now we still do not care for them. Anyway on to the good stuff.

We headed to the Land Pavillion with intentions of getting a FP for Sorin' but to our surprise the stand by line was only ten minutes and we were able to walk all the way to the point of where they merge the FP line with the Stand By line without coming to a stop. It was a great experiance as usual.

From here we headed off in search of good coffee, which is a hard thing to find at WDW. We decided on the stand that is between Ellen's and Mission Space. It was a very good ice coffee considering we were in WDW. The only heads up is that they only "take cash or actual credit cards. They do not take room keys."

We were also able to ride Spaceship Earth and Maelstrom at walk ons.

We then decided to checkout the Living Seas and this is where we found were all of the crowds were. The line for Turtle Talk with Crush was huge. There was just a massive queue set up that had a sign "Enter Here". There was no posted wait time or CM maning the entrance. Anyone getting into that line was in for a very long wait. We have seen this show before and enjoyed it but not enough to wait in a line that was that long.

We did a lot of slow strolling and shopping today it was a very enjoyable and relaxing day. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Thanks for the report! Some folks have been posting that it's crazy crowded right now..so glad to hear another view!

ENjoy the rest of your trip!

We just came back from a morning at the MK and it really depends on what rides your traveling party are interested in. We were able to ride PoC, Splash, BTM, HM and Mickey's Philharmagic with no wait other then wating for the next show to start at MPhM.

The waits for the Fantasyland rides were longer than for the "big" rides. We did not ride Space but we rode the TTA and Space was also a walk on.

So overall you would say that the crowds are very good? I'll be arriving tomorrow morning & I'm hoping it's not overly crowded. We go just about every year around this time so I'm not really expecting huge crowds since it's usually not bad.

My husband and I have traveled to WDW multiple times in Sept over the years and we both feel that the total numbers are up, ie Free Dining did its job, but that they numbers are up in the very young children area so if you are in parts of the parks that are not for that audiance, ie Splash and BTM, then the waits are on existent just like past years but the buses and resturants are packed with families with young children. Strollers everywhere.

we just got back yesterday from 9 days in the world. it was definitely way more crowded than last year at this time. i don't know if it is the free dining or what, but the combination of the heat and the crowds will make us think twice about going back in September again...
