Is this the right thread/area for Magic - May 2014 Transatlantic FE group? As I mentioned before, I'm new.... I want to know that I'm with the right crowd!

I also joined a couple of FB groups - but still feel like a noob.

I think I got there - put my name on the list in the Google Docs area (linked from the FB group) --- so here's to being hopeful!

1. If you have not updated your cabin number in the FE list you MUST updated it ASAP! If you are GTY be sure your cabin is listed as such.

2. We have prices for custom lanyards/badges for our group. The idea behind these is that we will be able to spot each other throughout the ship!

Here are the final custom lanyards/badges proof! They are awesome if I do say so myself. Hahaha!

The cost for 100 lanyards (minimum order) is $2.25 per lanyard. That includes a badge pocket (which will hold key to the world cards, etc).

The cost for 250 badges (minumum order) is $1.75 per badge.

Total cost per lanyard/badge is $4.

I need to know by the END OF THE WEEKEND (4/6/14) if you will be ordering one of these. I cannot front the entire cost of these without knowing that people will be purchasing them. THANK YOU!

Our friends who we met on the last cruise were supposed to go on this one, but they had to cancel. The kids are disappointed so I'm hoping they meet new forever friends on this trip too. Hello everyone!

I am just now discovering this board -and I'm incredibly overwhelmed and excited all at once!

We've traveled once on the Dream and the Fantasy on the concierge level ---and are going for our 3rd cruise on the Transatlantic -but no concierge level is available this journey. But it's also on the Magic which doesn't have the same amenities as the other ships, so I heard we're not missing much!

I'm ordering my first Fish Extender, and we're a small family - just two adults with a 3 year old. Do we just get the one pocket for the little guy? How does it work?

Also -- I'm hoping to finalize booking with Small World Vacations -- does anyone have any recommendations for getting any OBCs or otherwise? This was a last minute decision to book, but we'd still like to get the best deal possible... You guys are so advanced on your knowledge! I thank you all so much for reading my disjointed thoughts! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Welcome to all new cruisers. Not long now, and the excitement is building. Less than 6 weeks before we leave for Florida ...

You're in the right place but you need to make sure you're signed up for the FE if you want to take part. Did you find the fb group ok? There's alot going on and it can feel overwhelming..

I found the FB Group, but yes, you're totally right, it is very overwhelming.
I did the roll call and tried to sign up for an FE group - but it seems like there's only 2 new people (me and one other family) that are floating around and hoping for placement.

I'd like to know if I'll be in a group or not because I still would have to get my gifts prepared. I keep asking, but I may just stop - - because I don't want to come across as a PITA! I didn't discover this board until after we booked the trip, and we did this with less than 2 months to go.

Someone wake me up in 43 days.... I'm ready to cruise NOW!

I have joined the FB page - thank you However the only thing I saw was the kids' penpal list that closed in Feb or am I missing something?

Now that I am back in planning mode, getting excited for this trip, but still lots to do.

We are booked too, me (Tracy), dh (Jay), and dd(Georgia -8) from just outside of Halifax NS. We were going to book Alaska in August, but the cost for this cruise was too good to pass up. The airfare and the cruise was less than the Alaska cruise.

I think we will do a couple days at WDW before and spend 4-5 days in Barcelona after.

Nice to know there will be other Maritimers! husband and I doing our first Disney Cruise with a group if friends who do one every year - we can't wait! 2 nights in Disney beforehand, and 2 nights in Barcelona after. We are so excited we talk about it every day lol

Does this mean I provide FE gifts for the people in my group or for all FE enlisted people.

If you only signed up to be in one group, which it sounds like you did, you only provide gifts for the people in your group, Donald.
