I am from San Juan, Puerto Rico and will be going on the cruise with hubby and 2 boys (9,7)..
We've been in other cruise lines but never Disney.. We are Disney Vacation Club owners but I have to say I'm pretty lost here.. Need all the help I can get. Include me in your group and pm me any advice.. Starting with the best way to get to port.

We live in Indianapolis. We had Disney Cruise Line arrange our flights. They will fly us to Orlando and bus us to the port. They will fly us home from Barcelona. We like the security of it. When we took the TransAtlantic in 2010 the volcano exploded on Iceland and grounded planes in Europe. We were not worried, we were cool, it was DCL's problem. Our friends who booked their own flight were crazy with worry and rang up big ship-to-shore bills checking on flights.

We are really considering this cruise. My kids (17 and 12) now have it in their heads that it's a done deal! My daughter would turn 18 during the cruise. She wanted to go to the UK, to Cardiff specifically, to the Dr. Who Experience. I liked the idea of take a Disney cruise and then making our way via Paris, London, and then Cardiff and fly home.

Anyways, it would be 4 of us, but I think we are waiting to see about booking while my husband and I are on the last 4 night out of Galveston this January 4th.

This will be our 2nd time cruising (first was 7 night on the Med). I was worried about motion sickness but I was fine. I am hoping that it wasn't a flute and all will be well on the Transatlantic.

Glad to see another DS my sons age - my DS will almost be 8 by the time we go and he's a bit nervous of making new friends but I've told him he will have soo much fun getting to make friends with kids from other countries.

Glad to see another DS my sons age - my DS will almost be 8 by the time we go and he's a bit nervous of making new friends but I've told him he will have soo much fun getting to make friends with kids from other countries.

My son will be almost 8 too! This past May on the Panama Canal cruise our next door neighbors and table mates had a DS the same age and the boys became great friends. Haven't told my DS about this trip but he is going to be so excited.

My youngest DS (8) preferred Oceaneers club whilst the older one preferred the lab. They didn't spend much time together as they were often in different clubs. We could hardly keep our boys out of the clubs. We would have to collect them to get ready for dinner and drop them off after the show for a short while. We normally collected them around 10pm every night as the Med cruise was very tiring with lots of ports. Maybe this time around we will let them stay a little later on sea days a couple of times.

Great to hear how much your boys enjoyed the clubs. My DS seems quite excited at the prospect of not having to eat with us every night and being able to stay and eat at the club if others are!!
