I was just teasing ya. I completely understand, it took me to 27 and mid proposal to realize that I did want to get married. Still struggling with the settling down but do hope to have a family someday. My family has a hard time understanding this as both of my sisters were married with kids by 23.
Our honeymoon was booked with different last names and I believe most are as there isn't enough time to change your last name and passport before the honeymoon. I'm still working on changing everything over. Honeymooning planning was the best part of getting married!

we went to Alaska, not on Disney 3 years ago, and my friend and her dad went with us. Well it was a big group of us. My friend was 32 and her dad is over 70 and everyone, I mean every staff member thought they were married!! My friend hated it. It was sad though, her mom had died the year before and had always wanted to go to Alaska.

Also please don't wait too long before trying to start a family. I will be 34 and DH will be 40 this year and we have been trying for almost 6 years, since we got married and it's not looking very good. You never want to think it can happen like all the Hollywood stars who pop out twins into their late 40s. They seem to have more limitless sums of money than we do

He asked in June and we were married in Feb. My sister beat me by 3 weeks. He had my ring by was waiting for the anniversary of the day we met. So my sister claimed the entire fall and I hate how hot it is in the summer. So Our Feb waiting, it snowed 14 inches that week. It all worked out, but was stressful, and beautiful!

Awwww that's so cute! And snow makes everything so magical! But aince I want to get married at WDW, the chance of snow is about zero.

Welcome aboard! Panama Canal is a bucket list item for me. Never thought I'd get to do it let alone on a Disney ship!

ChrissyT, I feel for you and know how you feel. Dh and I tried for 12 years, gave up before getting deeply into infertility treatments, 1 1/2 years later we had our dd16 and our dd 11, my miracle 40's baby, a total surprise. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I'll be leaving in about 30 hours for LA to board the Wonder for one of the Pixar cruises. We are getting so excited. It will be dh and I, leaving the kiddos with family. We cannot wait to board her and take a ride up the CA coast. Even though we are a short drive from San Francisco, I've never done Alcatraz and we are going to an A's game while we are there so trying new things.

A box should pop up telling you that while you are booking the others linked to your reservation will not be able to do so. Then select an excursion and try to book it, it will bring up the names and stateroom of those reservations linked to yours. If you see that, then you know you are linked - just hit cancel to get out of it.

FYI, this works up to a point. Back when I had just a handful of folks linked it worked. Now that there are 15 it doesn't work anymore.

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Boy, you guys have been Busy! LOVE to see that! By now on the Hawaii, we were on the 3rd thread.

I have the opposite. When I have trouble falling asleep, I think about being on one of the Disney ships and how relaxing it feels to be on a cruise. Then I usually drift off into a nice Disney cruise dream.

That would be me, too. I just mentally put myself in that nice dark cabin and drift way.

Our first marraige (we've been married to each other twice) there was a huge blizzard - even my parents didn't make it!

It is my understanding that tea is no longer offered at Palo. Kind of a bummer really since I really enjoy a good tea service.

How sad. I'm not normally a tea service kind of guy, but taking my mom to Palo was a huge highlight for both of us from our last trip. I suppose we could do brunch, but then I feel like we're excluding my dad and the rest of the family. I was really hoping for some special mom-son bonding time. Any suggestions?

We'll be three weeks shy of 36 years when we cruise. Mom and Dad are celebrating 59 years today.

DH and I will celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary next week 30 days early.

Other than Gilland18's parents, we've got you all beat...we will be 21 days short of 40 years on the day we board! Our actual anniversary date is 12/30. On the day we got married, it snowed three inches in the morning, and by mid-afternoon it was in the 70's. You have to love New Jersey weather LOL!!!

When you get on board, you can always try to schedule a second brunch for just you and your mom. Or one night schedule an early Palo dinner and take her to the late show.

We will be celebrating our Fortieth Anniversary on sailing date December 9th. We renewed our vows several weeks ago at the Hyatt Resort near Austin. We thought about Vegas but wanted all the kids and grandkids to be there. It was so much fun. A very relaxing weekend and lots of fun memories for the grandkids. And a great family picture to send out as my Christmas card. Sherry

My twins are turning 12 a few days before the cruise but the last few times we have sailed I take each one separately to a nice sit down lunch. They both love it. It gives us some alone time without anyone else feeling left out. The other one can either hang with dad or go to the kids areas - whatever they want.

Twins! I love em! Ours will be 21 next month, identical boys. And they did love their one on one time with both mom and dad.
Looks like we are in the middle of the pack for years married. We had our 26thanniv in July. I am hoping for a Vow Renewal Summer 2014 on a DCL Alaskan Cruise.

OK, finally got flights to Ontario, CA booked, hotel there booked (visiting wife's relatives on 12/7), hotel near DL booked for 12/8. Still figuring out what we want to do on the Miami end.

Changing subjects, I've not seen much discussion on the stateroom crawl. I would have thought some people with staterooms assignments already would have volunteered to host by now.

Where's the spirit of adventure?
