Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

:dance3:101 Days!:dance3:

I'm fixing to resend that email to the scrapbook gals.

Old - Dimples (Built in 2005)
New- Luggage - bought this spring
Borrowed- camera from husband

What do you have for plans for the long weekend?

Happy day, all!

shop now?
Problem with shopping now is knowing my size in 3 months. Do I buy it tight and then what if I let something get in my way of my weight loss. I think I may go with the baggy look for the cruise. Hmmm, so something new, what would that be?:rolleyes1

What do you have for plans for the long weekend?

If things work out, we may be having a pre cruise meet with ARGA. They are moving their DD into university this weekend.

Otherwise, a RELAXIN' weekend at home. Hope to clean up my DD room who is in Egypt and is settling in nicely.

Even though it will be in the 30's today, fall is in the air.

Something old - my DH (tee hee)
Something new - most my clothes. I have lost almost 50 lbs this year and plan to lose another 20 before the cruise. The clothes I bought at the beginning of the summer, are starting to get big. After another 20 lbs. they may be falling off. Not sure where I will find clothes in November in Canada for the warmer weather.

That is awesome and a wonderful reason for some new duds. I

If it is not too much trouble, could we request a tree as well??

Thanks,
Tammy

Sure Thing.

Can we jump on the bandwagon?? We would LOOVE one!! And if the cost of printing all of these is too high, please let us contribute something.

:santa: It will be so much fun to do a Christmas countdown on our door tree. We have a special wooden Advent house with a little door to hide treats for each day, and of course, we won't get to use it this year. We'll just add an ornament to our tree each day instead, which will be a countdown to remember!

Thanks!

Jump right on and cute countdown idea. I'll bring them all to the first day meeting

How big are you making your trees? I'm thinking of doing one in felt (or some other material that won't show obvious folds).

The paper is ANSI C(17x22) so the tree is about 22" tall and at it's widest is about 16"

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Something old, something new, something borrowed . . .

Old would be my binoculars, my Dad gave them to me when I was 5.
New would be the FE my MIL is making for us
Borrowed would be my younger sister's bridemaids dress she wore in my wedding. I plan on wearing it for formal night and my older sister will wear hers so my DH will have a woman on each arm in a matching dress

It was a very short engagement due to the fact that he was leaving for Naval Flight School in Pensacola.

I did a lot of work for the NAS in Pensacola and for ECUA in Pensacola. I loved it there! I always got so distracted by all the planes and I loved seeing the Blue Angels practice. The beach was a nice bonus. I almost moved there permanetly.

What do you have for plans for the long weekend?

We will be working on home improvements the whole extended weekend. Hope to finish up some projects!

Hello! I am SO behind on reading posts. I somehow have to catch up, but feel I should post quickly now.

First, if I owe anyone anything (a note, a reply, or money) for any of the privately arranged tours, pillow cases, or anything else, please PM me. I have signed up for the Ruins tour, one pillow case, three certificates and I'd like the printed Christmas tree for the door.

I guess that's the important part. Wow, 101 days. I better catch up here and also on my other research so we are ready to book stuff when our window opens. Starting to feel panicked again about getting everything ready!

I am so excited to be in double digits for this cruise! Just got home last night from a 6 day stay ay WDW and a 5 night Dream cruise! We had a great time with great weather! It took the captain 3 hours to dock on our first CC day due to wind but he got us in! It rained on our sea day but there was enough to do inside to keep us all busy. Great weather for all our other days in Florida and on the cruise despite Issac!

My DH and I had been to CC over 10 years ago but it obviously wasn't developed like it is now. CC was awesome! I could do a cruise that just ports here for multiple days. Serenity Bay is one of my top favorite places to be now. Sitting in a chair submerged in a foot of water drinking a BBC in the sun was nothing but bliss! I truly needed those 3 hours. I even ignored the text on the wave phone saying that ds7 wanted to be picked up from Scuttle's Cove. LOL He survived! My friend, her Dh and I ran the CC 5K and I am now paying for it! My body is so sore! I am not a runner but I am glad I did it!

The aquaduck was a lot of fun too! Dd didn't make the height requirement by about an inch but the boys loved riding! The only downside to the cruise was that it was only 5 nights! After going on the Hawaii cruise, this just flew by! Can't wait for 2 weeks back on the Wonder. The Dream was nice but it is huge and I missed being on the Wonder!

When I was in the process of losing 55 pounds, my size changed pretty frequently. Hate to buy stuff and shrink out of it in just a few months so I visited what my friends call "Boutique G" (that would be Goodwill and Salvation Army) and consignment shops. Some people wouldn't dream of wearing second hand clothes, but I love them - tI figger hey're already broken in:rotfl2:

Jim and I refer to similar establishments as "The Boutique". I have a beautiful knee length fur coat which I purchased at "The Boutique" many years ago for $20. It needed a button on the inside. It's my best find to date!

That said, I just had to get some new things. I've lost 40 pounds, which was my goal, and I promised myself that I would get "a few NEW things" when I achieved it. I should have paid more attention to the "few" and less to the "new"! But now I have an entire wardrobe of clothes that actually fit me. I'm still not slender, and that will never happen, but I did wear my shirt tucked into my capris (I wouldn't have been caught dead in capris a year ago), and a belt for the first time in decades! What an amazing feeling! Now if I can manage not to gain anything on my cruise in two weeks, I should have plenty of nice clothes and one lovely new bathing suit for the PC cruise!

Good suggestion. Thanks. In my last job, we had a great consignment store across the road, and we went on a regular basis. I found a great leather jacket for $35. I think I may going searching for one this weekend to get some fall suits for work.

Love boutique shopping! Just say any store name with a french accent and suddenly it sounds fab! My mom wants to do the pirate thing on this cruise so we may be visiting one to find costumes.

This is our first Disney cruise and we are already looking to book another. Is there any incentive to booking while we are on our cruise? We are looking at the transatlantic from Galveston to Barcelona . :cool1: Sherry

Yes, you get a 10% discount on the cruise fare, and you only pay 10% deposit, instead of the standard 20%. My DH and I are already booked on the transatlantic cruise from Galveston...we booked it in June when we were onboard Magic.

We are heading out to Vegas for the weekend. One last getaway before we become slaves to DD's gymnastics schedule (which lasts through the weekend before Thanksgiving).

Don't forget the onboard credit to spend on that cruise!

Thanks for the info on booking our next cruise onboard the cruise. We are definitely leaning towards the transatlantic crossing. It's several years since we have been in Barcelona and I think it's a great way to get to Europe. Sherry:yay:

Oh, HAVE FUN! One of my absolute favorite places (and I don't even gamble).

You mean like Targhay and MarShawls?:thumbsup2

Hey Relaxin', we are still hoping to meet you this weekend when we take DD to University. Her and I went shopping tonight to get kitchen stuff and various other necessities. All very exciting. We probably won't make it to town until late afternoon on Saturday. Then we will be moving her in and probably be making a grocery run as well. So, not sure when I will be calling but I will give it my best shot. We can talk about Disney cruising, and missing our daughters, among other things! I also want to hear about the secret to losing weight. Way to go to you and to all the others who have made big changes in your health and well being over the year. I guess there is no magic trick to losing weight other than excercise and watching what you eat. I am hoping to shed a few pounds before the cruise so that I have a few inches to spare while on board. I have a membership at the gym but it is a chore for me to exercise and I also have this little addiction to chocolate which gets me into trouble too. Look forward to meeting you.

Hi everyone! We are headed to Hawaii for the week. So, in the midst of packing. Kids are so excited too! It's been really warm here in Colorado. So, looks like it will be a lot cooler in Hawaii then here. Well, hope everyone down south is safe from all the storms and flooding!

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

We'll probably still be on the same page when y'all get back, at the rate we're going!

Oooooooh! Another of my favorite places! Which Island are you visiting?

dthogue, if you didn't get an email from me about the scrapbook group, please re-pm your addy.

Going for a walk in a few minutes and then home to do the online banking, clean something and Craft (play) for the rest of the day. :goodvibes

Hope YOUR day is terrific!

I got our cruise invoice today. We're booked 2a/2c in IGT and our invoice came in at $30 LESS than what we orignially paid (sweet!) I'm assuming this will be transferred to an onboard credit? Or will we receive a refund to the cc I used? It's so odd.

Also, are early morning (11 am) arrival times still available? We want to get on that boat as early as possible!
