EBCI and changing flights

I just changed my flight on Southwest for my family...we added a day to our reservation!!!

I already purchased EBCI when i originally booked and I'm assuming it will go automatically with the new flight?
I didn't see anything about it when I changed.

I have done this and the EB showed up when I called up the confirmation. It should be there if you only changed the flight, not cancel and rebook.

I did this last year - the EBCI carried over to the new flight - I just moved down in the pecking order of boarding. - I bought tickets at the same time as my travel companions and I switched to get a travel credit when lower fares came out - they didn't - when we left MCO - they were in the High A's and I was in the High B's. Don't know if it was a fluke or not - my credit was for the return flight - we all boarded together on the flight to MCO.

Well...I did notice that my one of my daughters tickets is one number away from ours...like all of ours are 1,2,3 and she's 5. ???
I'm hoping that doesn't put her in a different boarding category than us?
BUT....hopefully I can have the kids board with me...and my hubby can board after us if need be??? Do they mind if they switch boarding places?
I hardly think another adult wants to entertain my 8 year old for three hours.

This is the only thing I do not like about Southwest.

They don't mind if your party switches boarding order among yourselves. Boarding posts are in groups of five - so there'll be one person between your husband and tge rest of you. If you all want to board together, just let number 4 go ahead of you.

Thank you so much...that puts my mind at ease. I know she would be freaked out if she had to wait and board the plane alone.
