Hi everyone! I'm planning a December vacation and this is the first time! I'm so excited! We are not telling our 5 yr old. Big Surprise! I've been looking at all of the ticket options and am wondering if the ebay tickets are a valid option and will we have any trouble with the transferable clause? any opioions or past experiences? Please help!
you probally would get the advice your looking for either in the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies Board or the Budget Board. I don't know that much about E-Bay, but I have heard reports of fake tickets being sold and it wasn't realized until the guests got to the park. There are other discount ticket options.
) that they were issued in my name and came straight from Disney beforehand. That seller no longer sells them, who knows why but to be honest, I was very nervous until I got there and used them. Given the chance, I probably wouldn't do it again, only because it is so risky. If you'd like to look into it, check their feedback and make sure it is all positive. Also make sure that they have sold tickets to several people who have bought them and that they have left only positive feedback, and also contact as many of them (the purchasers) as you can and ask if they have used their tickets yet, what they looked like, how their overall experience was. I did all of that, and asked the seller several specific questions before buying and kept all communications on record. I found out that they would be sent to me direct from Disney in my name, and she actually admitted that she got them through a friend who worked for Disney and got the discount. (I know, shame shame but at the time I had no idea about the DISboards and the "taboos" of Disney) I felt comfprtable enough to buy them and got a great deal. I did wait to leave feedback until I knew they worked, but by that time she was no longer a registered user, so I never got to leave it. Do your research and do what feels right to you, don't go with it just to save a few dollars- it may end up costing you in the long run. HTH!
