Ebay?

I have an item I sold...people were bidding right up to the last minute. This person jumps in--bids...THEN asks some questions. Long story short...she didn't want it. Soooo I tried to resolve with her-no go. I have filed a claim with Ebay. Seems from here on it's mostly automated emails from Ebay but I must wait a week to let the process proceed.

Anyone know what my options are?

It appears that I am out the listing fees and not the selling fees?

I am ticked...:headache:
 
couldn't you email that person with the next highest bid to see if they still want it? I had that happen once, I was bidding on pins and got outbid at the last minute...the buyer must have either backed out or not paid because the seller sent me an e mail asking if I was still interested.
 
I have done that...technically I think I was supposed to wait till July 18 and Ebay have made attempts to resolve, but they will get nowhere, this lady is not buying it.

I cannot give her negative feedback either? It allows only the positive or leave feedback later option.:confused3

I am not impressed.
 
have her send you an email stating she does not want it. (If she has not already)
then send her one stating you will accept her decline to buy and will sell to second bidder.

Only problem with doing this -- which is a mutual agreement not to complete the transaction -- is that while the seller may get the final value fee credited back, the buyer gets off scot free. Not even a NPB strike which they deserve. Like noted, the buyer can not even get a negative feedback which they deserve.

Do NOT mutually agree not to complete the transaction. Allow the 8 days to pass and give them a non paying bidder strike, which is the ONLY way someone like this can be punished for misusing the eBay system.
 
There are people on Ebay who think it is a "game", have multiple accounts and bid on things they have no intention of ever paying for :sad2:

I have recieved many emails from sellers who said the first person never paid and they want to know if I would be interested in a second chance offer, before they can even offer it to me. It is allowed and gives them a heads us to relist it or count on selling it to the second bidder.

I had to wait one week for her to pay before I could file a claim - although she had told me right after it closed that she didn't want and wasn't paying. Now I have to wait until July 18 before I get the fees reversed and re-list. I will wait the time....but I cannot understand the reasoning behind not being able to leave negative feedback?

Because apparently a major complaint eBay had from buyers was that they received negative feedback from sellers in response to negative feedback they had left for poor service. Retaliatory feedback was scaring away many buyers so they made this change to bring them back. Never mind the fact that sellers can also receive negative feedback in response from buyers who received a neg after failing to make payment.

The whole feedback system wasn't perfect to begin with, but this change didn't exactly make it better.
