"Ebay Your Way to WDW" thread????

I swear I remember a thread a while ago called something like "How to Ebay your way to WDW". It was about how to sell stuff on ebay.

Search is not helping at all. I'm thinking it must have been here on the CB, since it's really the board I hang at mostly.

They Ebay your way to WDW method is to visit Thrift Stores, resale shops, Garage sales/etc and purchase decent things that you believe you can sell for more on Ebay. or going through all your old clothes/etc.

The catch is trying to find things that you can sell for more on Ebay and not ending up with a bunch of junk cluttering your basement.

I can't find the thread either. One way that I've used Ebay to make money is to visit company closings - where they are shutting down and getting rid of lots of stuff. I got 50+ of printer ribbons for free that I sold on ebay for $10 apiece. But again, it's a matter of knowing what will sell and what won't.

You're right.. I was the original OP.. I think I started that thread about 2 years ago - maybe a little longer - and it was posted on the Budget Board.. After it became too long, another thread was started by robinrs (I think).. The title of mine was "Ebay your way to Disney!".. I don't know how far back the archives go so it may not be available yet..

My thread was not about purchasing at thrift stores and garage sales for resale - it was about selling items that you have lying around in your own home..

I think there's a sticky over on the BB at the top with info that was gleaned from my original thread..

There is an Ebay FAQ stickied near the top of the Budget Board. robinrs posted it after I scoured the pages of the original thread and condensed it to the FAQ.
