I was checking out ebay this morning and saw someone selling tips to save big money on WDW meals & lodging & passes...specifically mentioned "luxury Disney hotel" for $60 per night. Anyone familiar with this? I have never heard of some of his discounts...mentioned park pass for $29 per day, too. Is this legitimate? I would love to spend the $7 for the info if it's for real! Don't want to get ripped off though. Thanks for any help.

All of that info is given for free on these boards. The luxury hotel is one of the Downtown Disney hotels. The $29 passes are usually if you take a timeshare tour.

Thank you! I wondered why I hadn't heard about them before!

Don't pay the money-- read the boards for free. I see that all the time and have to wonder how in the world the seller is getting people to buy.

I bid on several eBay auctions like this a couple of weeks ago just to see what they were selling. I was curious because in the past I have caught people cutting and pasting material from MouseSavers into a file and selling it! Needless to say I got those auctions shut down quickly for infringing on my copyright.

DMRick is 100% correct about the $6.99 one. You get a few hints (less than 2 pages) about doing a timeshare presentation to get free or cheap Disney tickets, a suggestion to use Priceline to book your luxury hotel, and the oh-so-brilliant idea of fraudulently obtaining a Florida ID to get FL resident discounts! :(

Plus, it tells you to go to MouseSavers.com -- that's the big "secret." :earseek:

In fact, quite a few of the auctions are just selling a link to MouseSavers, and nothing else! It's quite a racket. Hey, maybe I should start selling links to my own site for $6.99? Whaddya think?

Just kidding - MouseSavers is gonna stay FREE. :teeth:

Save your money on the info on ebay. You can find all the same info on the web yourself. Use a search engine. Also, I don't recommend buying the Quick and Casual Meal Vouchers sold on ebay. Way over priced! If you join the club yourself they are only $11.50 each. But still at that price you will only break even if you watch where you eat and always order the large drink and dessert. ::MinnieMo
