eBay Question - Regarding Buying A Cell Phone

My cell phone is now totally broken, and I was looking at buying a cell phone on ebay. I have Verizon. When I called the rep. I was informed that eBay was a choice for a new phone. I found one that looked nice, and once I have the money, I want to get it. However, I have never bough anything on eBay, and a cell phone is a large investment.

I am a bit leary of using eBay. Has anyone bought a cell phone on it before? How was your experance?

I have never bought a cell phone on e-bay, but I am about to sell a couple. I would think if the person has good feedback you should be ok. There could be good reasons why they are selling the phone. Some people just like the newest toys and go through them like crazy. In my case I am selling mine because Verizon does not service where I live now, so I had to switch to T-Mobile. My phones are great, but just of no use to me. I think if you think the phone looks good, and the person has good feedback, you should go for it.

Thanks for the link, Dan! The phone I was looking at was on that site, and they all had mixed reviews on it. Some loved it, some hated it. However, that is how it is with most phones, even my old LG.
