I won an auction for a stroller 2 weeks ago. Auction said that the stroller would be shipped the day after payment was received (I paid right after I won the item). So, it should have been here last week. I emailed the seller. She responded back 3 days later (after a second email from me) saying that she had been out of town and she shipped out the stroller that day--which was Last week Thursday. She was shipping UPS. The item should have been here either Tuesday or at the latest Weds. Well it is Friday and still nothing. I emailed her yesterday and have not gotten any response. How long should I wait to go to Paypal to file a claim??

First ask her for the UPS tracking number. You can track it online. If she can't produce it, don't wait at all. Report her to Paypal immediately.

Good luck!

That is what I asked for in yesterday's email. I am going to give her a little more time to answer my email, then start a claim I guess.

How is her feedback?

I agree, ask for a tracking number and then report it ASAP!

Where is it being shipped from and what class of UPS shipping did the seller use?

Because if it's coming from someplace like Boston and was shipped UPS Ground, it may not arrive until today.

And if the seller charged you for UPS 3rd day but shipped Ground .. well, that a whole other can of worms.

If she won't give you the UPS tracking number, then something is fishy. A legitimate seller would give you that info instantly. Hope it works out. :goodvibes

you can always cancel them later..she will have to provide paypal with a tracking #...and prove that she shipped within paypal's allotted time period..or she loses their seller's protection..and they may find in your favor and refund you your money..if you want to wait..then do it on Mon..good luck!

File promptly because you have only within 30 days to file a PayPal chargeback.

Thanks everyone. I looked into filing a claim with Paypal. Because the seller only has 20 feedbacks, I have to go a different way than Paypal's buyer protection. I did pay using my credit card, so I am sure I will be able to get all of my money back. I wrote another email to the seller. I am giving her (as stated in the email) until Saturday afternoon to reply back to me with tracking info. If no response, I will file a claim.
