ebay/paypal help

After a couple hundred transactions on ebay, it's finally happened. I sent payment via paypal to the seller a month ago and after several unanswered emails, I still don't have the items I paid for. I paid for the items using paypal and the credit card statement just arrived. What do I do now?

I have noticed that several other buyers have left negative feedback for this seller lately, so the chances that I'll ever see the items are pretty slim.

Do I contact paypal, ebay, or my credit card company first?

I would contact my credit card company first, because you can always go back and reverse the procedure with them. Then I'd contact Paypal; I'm not sure eBay would do anything about it. They don't seem to want to be involved.

I'm sorry it happened, I've had it happen once, too, but I hadn't paid with a credit card. Luckily, it was for a small amount.

You need to get Ebays Safe Harbor involved, they are the ones that will try to get the buyer to give you the stuff. But there really is not much they can do beyond suspending the account, etc - everything else is pretty much up to you.

I would also get together with your credit card company and work with them to get the charges reversed.

you file with paypal..you MUST file with paypal first..even if they reject the claim..if you file with your credit card co and didn't notify paypal..they can permanently suspend your paypal/ebay account!..send all information you have to paypal with the complaint..including the paypal transaction #..auction #..date, seller's name..etc...you can look this all up in your paypal history if need be..then file non performing seller reports with ebay AND paypal..and after paypal notifies you of the status of your complaint..then you can file a chargeback with your credit card co..you can also file a square trade complaint..will need all the same information you provide the other 2..good luck!
