Ebay ideas once your house is empty!

I love the Ebay thread, but it is now huge and I would like to ask a question about selling. I have started selling and am doing OK but at some point will run out of stuff to sell. Does anyone have ideas of other stuff to get/make/list?

You could shop at thrift stores, garage sales, going out of business sales or clearance areas. My husband has a friend who found a great local thrift store where lots of things are $1. He also has found another one where the prices are higher but he finds lots of name brands. If you can sell it for more than you can buy it for you have a profit. He buys name brand shirts for $2-3 and resells on ebay for $15-$20. It sounds great, but he takes the time to shop, wash, press, photograph, and list each item. It would depend on how much $$$ your time was worth. Good luck!!!

Lets see, curbside shopping (I have found some wonderful things this way)... I don't do goodwill that much, since our goodwill is pretty high. (wouldn't make much money).

I have shopped everywhere, wherever I find a deal. I've mostly sold outgrown things of my kids that were originally goodwill anyway...

DH gets things from work as well (yes he get permission to take it home)

I do the thrift store thing. We have a great chain around here called Amvets. After a few weeks they mark stuff down to $.79-.99, mostly clothes. They also have 1/2 price days a few times a year. I go with $100.00 and usually come home with bags upon bags of stuff. The $100.00 investment nets me almost 5-8 times back!! (after fee's and everything). I tend to find A LOT of name brand items there. GAP, HILLFIGER, COACH, AMERICAN EAGLE--- the deals are great and I've only had 2 things I've ever bought that didn't resell!!
