Can someone explain to me the cost of selling on ebay? I am just a little overwhelmed with all the information. Is it worth it?

You can find the info about all the fees on the website but basically the listing fee is based on the starting price..I believe under $9.99 is $.35 and then they give you one free picture and its $.15 for any extras.

The final price fee is 5.25% on under $25 and then I believe $25 to a certain amount is 5.25% up to the $25 and then 2.75% for the difference.

And if you decide to do Paypal and take credit cards they charge 2.9% + $.30 of the payment.

if you just want to sale a couple of items ( < 5 ) and u want to take paypal do u have to sign up for the business/merchant service?

Only time you need a premier account is if you accept credit cards. If you only want to take available funds, you don't need a premier acct -however - you also cannot display the paypal logo in the auctions then either cause it displays mc/visa,etc.
