Ebay feedback problem

I have an ongoing auction on Ebay for 99 cents. It is for custom invitations but the minimum order is 25 - I list them that way so people can choose how many they want and I have them in one auction.

Anyway....I have had 3 people buy one and then leave me positive feedback and then say I have left you positive feedback and would appreciate the same. I have a 100% feedback around 190 and was worried if I didn't give him the positive feedback he would ding me....so I just marked super fast payment.

But now 2 others have done the same thing...and I am worried that if I don't leave feedback they will ding me but in essence they are buying positive feedback....has anyone else ever encountered this - what should I do?

If they have already left feedback they cannot change it.

They may have their account set up so that once they leave feedback it automatically send you the message asking you to do the same. I used to have my account set up to do that.

Thanks - I won't be leaving them feedback.

The auctions end tomorrow and I won't be renewing them. It bugs me that they were paying for the positive feedback.

I dont think I understand, why wouldnt you leave them feedback, could be repeat buyers..

They didn't actually buy anything from me. The minimum order on my item is 25 - they only ordered one - paid me and left the feedback. It is a custom made item that they don't want - they only want the positive feedback. What they are doing is completing auctions that are less than a dollar - then leaving positive feedback in the hopes I will do the same thus artificially boosting their feedback.

I think that I would not only NOT leave them the feedback that they're looking for, I think I would also report them to ebay. You actually are within your rights to leave them bad feedback since they didn't actually complete your auction (since the minimum order was 25 and they only paid for 1).

What concerns me about doing this is that they could again buy from me and then ding me...they would only be out the dollar and I would have to fight it. I won't give them the feedback they want but I don't want to get in a war with them either.

You can block them from bidding again so I wouldn't leave the feedback.
