I think it is hysterical that there is this much interest in a Vero Beach Timeshare. I am guessing there havent been this many posts about Vero Beach in all other threads combined over the last year.

Seriously, I am seeing what everone else is. ROFR is only taking about a week lately and everything is cruising through. With that in mind I haven't heard from the seller in a week or so and am starting to wonder myself.

With all that being said my previous purchase attempts all were ROFR'd and all took the full 30 days so I am not even pushing the issue at this point.

I appreciate the support and promise to let everyone know if and when something happens.

I can understand why you might want to be especially patient in this case too, since it does have some unusual "strings" attached.

You folks may have noticed that we advertise on E-Bay. The other day I get a frantic call from Jason, someone had hacked into our account and replaced all of our materials with ads to sell 10 tractors. After investigation, they had also charged $10,000 to our account.(that part's not funny) Anyway after more investigation with the help of E-Bay we were able to remove the tractor ads, get our $10,000 erased, and E-Bay offered to discount our ads for 90 days. Unfortunately, they had NO interest in prosecuting the parties that did this. I just don't get it. How are we going to stop this type of crime if no one is going to help with prosecution??? I suppose I should be talking to JimMia!

Everything turned out OK, but we did have fun with the calls on the tractors. We just asked them if they wanted small, medium or large. So, if you are looking for a tractor, you won't find it at The Timeshare Store.

I can understand your frustration Tom. A very close friend of mine had his auction for a 1 of a kind classic corvette hijacked. The whole thing cost him a sale (car is a high 5 to low 6 figure priced auto). On top of that the "criminal" got a $5000 deposit for the car from some unsuspecting buyer and to make matters worse the wouldbe buyer somehow reported the car as stolen or something and the sheriffs department visited my friend and it was a real mess to straighten out. to my knowledge nobody was ever prosecuted
