The seller/real estate agent is telling me, that this is a Disney's vero beach Resort/2 Bedroom/red Timeshare deed.
They are also telling me it is a regular 7 day/timeshare.
They are telling me no DVC points apply in anyway to this timeshare.
Please read the questions and the real estate agents answers to those questions.
has a dramactic change occured at Disneys vacaton club/Vero beach?

I see DVC advertised like this every once in a while...the red week thing. I don't think this timeshare company knows what they are doing..It really would be scary to bid on something that is so misrespresented....

is it possible that A real estate agent, with high such a high ebay feedback profile, could be so dramatically misrepresenting this DVC Vero Beach
contract??

I sent him a message on ebay. In answer to your question KANSAS, yes it is possible, apparently. Disney doesn't sell DVC in the manner he has listed this, so the only alternative is he just hasn't done his homework here.

I wrote him earlier also. I wouldn't bid on it until you have the CORRECT information. As his is not. :thumbsup2

If this is DVC I find it astounding that the seller is calling himself a timeshare expert with perfect customer satisfaction (not his exact words, but close enough). Definitely misrepresentation. Would not want to buy a timeshare from this agent.....

I sent him a message saying I was confused as Disney does not sell weeks but points and how many points was it for. I also asked him what would happen if Disney exercised their right to first refusal. Altgough I think I may have phrased it wrong, but hopefully being the expert he is he will understand. :lmao:
Haven't heard back.

So things just don't add up. A full week in Premier Season in a 2 Bedroom takes 447 points. The maintenance fees if subsidized only add up to 289 points. What the heck is with this guy?

Red doesn't necessarily mean Premier Season. It's probably Red in the general Florida parlance. The 289 points is exactly the number needed in one of the seasons that could loosely be labeled Red in the industry, but that is a bit of a stretch, IMHO.

from the auction site:

Note to high bidder: We sell timeshare exclusively and we will always be honest and fair in dealing with all customers. We have no unsatisfied customers and work to assure each transaction pleases each customer. We verify all information shown with the resort and you are always welcome to call yourself but if anything stated in this auction is found inaccurate we will completely refund all fees. :confused3

Sounds like someone may have to refund some fees.

Also, with the member meetings taking place this month and the new dues rates being set I was wondering if the 2007 dues quoted are really accurate for 2007. Can anybody tell for sure?

I sent an e-mail too....no repsonse yet! popcorn::

I think this situation is yet another example of why anyone either buying or selling a DVC contract had BETTER use a reliable broker who knows what they are doing.

If a broker messes you up -- and then refunds all your fees -- they have STILL messed you up, and you still don't have what you thought you were buying!

Caveat Emptor!

Actually the seller says you can book the resort weeks 1-52.

And that would be correct. Even on TUG, DVC is often listed as Red.

what is an interval international Exchange contract/red week
at the DVC resort/Vero Beach
that is being mentioned in this thread?

I have never heard of an interval international exchange contract/red week
at the DVC Resort/Vero beach, before today
