When booking a hotel online through Ebates, whether on Hotles.com, Orbitz, Traveloicity or say Marriott.com does it matter if you pay immediately or pay at the hotel to earn the Ebates money back?

When booking a hotel online through Ebates, whether on Hotles.com, Orbitz, Traveloicity or say Marriott.com does it matter if you pay immediately or pay at the hotel to earn the Ebates money back?

I know that you can make a reservation on Mariott's website and not pay until you arrive at the hotel, but I believe the other 3 require payment in full at the time of booking.

Regardless, ebates' policy is to credit you for your travel purchases 45 days after the completion of your travel. So you will not get a rebate on a hotel reservation until after you have actually gone on your trip and paid for your stay.
