Ebates Disney Store online gift card

Well, I suppose the question is still unanswered. I bought two gift cards on the same day through Ebates. I got credit for one, but not the other. I filed a trouble ticket for the one that did not credit. I finally got a response, and this is what it said:
Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We are sorry to hear about any trouble that you may have experienced while shopping through Ebates. Currently, it is not possible to earn Ebates cash-back while purchasing gift cards or gift certificates from any store other than the stores listed on our Ebates Gift Card page. I knew gift cards didn't count towards rewards. At least you got credit for one, their mistake I guess.

The policy is no cash back on Disney GC from any rewards program. I have had one or two "sneak" through, but I have also heard of the credits being revoked.

I don't think your question is unanswered. The response was pretty clear...no cashback on gift cards.

You got one to sneak thru somehow. Consider it a gift. It's not the way it's supposed to happen.

I have never earned cashback on ebates for purchasing Disney gift cards. I tried twice without any luck. So be happy with the credit for one.

This may not help w/this dilemma in particular, but here is my current experience w/ebates:

I've been a member of Ebates since 2006 w/one account and much earlier w/an account I no longer use. I hadn't had any problems until NOW. I spend thousands of dollars per year at Hot Topic. I just noticed within the last two weeks that they have not paid me one rebate for my Hot Topic shopping since July. I am missing approximately 35 PAYMENTS. I cannot get a response from the company w/the exception of "can" e-mails they send automatically. I cannot find a phone number to contact anyone. I am VERY frustrated to say the least. My only option now is to take it outside the company. I have three acquaintances who I referred and one stated that she's NEVER received a check. Just the head's up to anyone looking to start using them. Great in the past and totally unreliable and unresponsive in the present! After doing some research, I've found this to be more common then first realized.
