It looks like Ebates is offering 6% cash back on activity reservations (which would include WDW tickets) purchased through Orbitz. Normally, it is 3%...not TONS of savings, but every little bit counts.:thumbsup2 It says that the double cash back is good for today...not sure if it extends out any further.

I forgot to add that currently Orbitz has a deal- if you buy a 4 day MYW ticket, you get 2 days free- which makes it currently cheaper than the UT tickets. It says you must travel by December 31, 2014 for these tickets.

Did you already get your cash back confirmation from eBates? I'm seeing:
6.0% Cash Back on Retail Hotel reservation, per Activity reservation; 2.0% Cash Back on Activities Package
A lot is going to depend on whether ebates considers Disney tickets to be an activity "reservation" or "package". It sure would be nice if they consider it to be the former and not the latter. Keep us posted!

Just a word of caution: Do not buy these promotional tickets if you intend to upgrade them! Usually tickets with a "use by" date must be used as is and cannot be upgraded!

It notes specifically on the ticket redemption instructions that it is able to be upgraded upon redemption with the voucher.

Thanks for posting the additional information. I will keep you posted. Both ways it works out for me, but I'd prefer for them to decide in the way that most favors my budget. ;)

I want to purchase two Disney tickets today with this Orbitz offer, but they are not for me. We have two people who are travelling with us to Disney. I have made all arrangements for them, including hotel, and they reimburse me . I have them added to my MDE (they don't even have an account).
My question is regarding the Orbitz tickets, as when I go to purchase them it asks who will be redeeming the vouchers. It won't be me (we already have our tickets and they are already shown on my MDE). Since I made our hotel reservations through Orbitz using my name and one of the other couple's names, it does show her name, so I was thinking I would list her as redeeming them (which is correct). However, how will that affect me getting the RIFD ticket information entered into my MDE account? Do they email that to the purchaser (which would be me)? When I made the hotel reservations, they emailed both itineraries to me, so I'm assuming they will use my email again (since it's my Orbitz account). (My 60 day FP window opens in 11 days, so I know I have time even if they mail the tickets.)

Goodness, I know there is probably a much more succinct way of me stating all this, but I can't seem to find it!

If you can help, thanks!!

I bought our Disneyland tickets through Orbitz earlier this year and used them over the summer. They were the buy 3 day, get 4 day tix. We had no problem adding a day on to ours after we used them a couple of days (they even credited us with the 4 day purchase value). Of course, there could be fine print on this specific offer that prohibits upgrading.

Good to know. Thanks! :) The policies on the voucher note that they CAN be upgraded, so I don't expect to run into any trouble. Fingers crossed.

Okay. I see where I was confused. It says that you "must travel by Dec. 31, 2014". It doesn't say anything about the ticket having to be used by that date! The ticket itself has no expiration, it just needs to be picked up by then.

As I promised, I am following up on the results of my Ebates cash rebate. The rebate posted to my account today, and it was for the full 6%. It appears that as long as the WDW tickets are purchased alone, then they count as an activity reservation. If they're purchased along with a hotel room, then I believe they are considered a package. I am happy because each ticket came in about $30 cheaper than I had budgeted. :)

Does anyone know how to get the address changed under my resort reservation? When booking through Orbitz I have read from other people that the address Disney has for your reservation is the Orbitz address. (which is true). Who do I call to have that address changed to my home address so my magic bands will come to my home and NOT Orbitz in Chicago. I just called ORBITZ and Disney and neither seemed to know what to do. THANK YOU!

If I remember correctly, when I put in my Disney Reservation # into My Magic + account, it gave me the option to customize my bands and confirm/edit the shipping address for said bands.

Does anyone think we could see the cash back % get higher than 6% ever again? I remember getting 20% cash back last year on our tickets using Orbitz thru Ebates but I thought, while it was awesome, it might just be a deal that would not come along again. Anyone care to speculate? Do they routinely ever go higher than 6% for activity reservations with Orbitz?
