I got my rebate and magic code but when I went to link the ticket it said I needed to call a number because it had already been linked to an account??? This happen to anyone???
Hey, guys. I'm new to the boards so, forgive if this has been addressed already.... I know the 20% promotion through ebates is now gone, but I saw there was a current 10%, however, when I search their site I only see 4% cash back for activity reservations.I appreciate your help!
I've got a couple of emails going with ebates. They asked me to forward them the actual email confirmation and then they asked for the amount before taxes and fees. I gave them all that info and this is their last response: Dear Rob, Thank you for sending along this information. We have submitted an inquiry to the store regarding the reporting of this purchase, and will notify you as soon as we have information to pass along. Ebates relies on our stores to report your order to us so that you can earn Cash Back. We cannot credit an account until the store notifies us that a purchase has been made and that Ebates will be paid for this purchase. Please keep in mind that it can take some time for the store to respond and we will be sure to let you know as soon as they do. Most inquiries are resolved within 10 business days, though some do require more time (Up to 45 days). If you have any further questions, comments or concerns please let me know and we would be glad to assist you further.
I got the same email. Orbitz quotes the ticket prices with taxes included, right? I sent them a screen shot of the ticket prices. Don't they give you the rebate base on total spent? Didn't understand why they asked for pretax/fee amount.
Yes I don't see a breakdown of tickets vs tax and fees. If you go directly to disney's site, you can get the prices of pre-tax ticket prices if it comes to that. For now, I just broke down what Orbitz charges for the adult tickets and kid tickets.
Purchasing the tickets from Orbitz through ebates is a good deal but you really need to know your dates and not need to change or cancel them. I found this info out after I made my purchase and got my voucher emailed to me.
I put in my exact dates of travel. We will be in Orlando for 3 weeks and those are the dates I used. I should have extended my dates just in case I would have to change my vacation dates, but now it's too late.
Buying Disney tickets is fine through Orbitz because there is no "Valid Dates" listed on the voucher except expires 14 days from first use, but for Universal and SeaWorld there are valid dates, the dates you entered as your travel dates.
A voucher from Orbitz for Universal or SeaWorld can't be changed, cancelled or refunded once the voucher is issued. If a voucher is lost, it can't be reprinted or replaced.
Exactly why I chose not to try this deal. The fine print states no changes or refunds, and since you have to input a date when you will pick up, I couldn't risk it. My dates are too far out to know for sure yet....
If I had sure dates cloer in, I would have done it.....
For those who are still waiting for the cash to post, I'd be curious to know whether Ebates automatically credited the 20% or if they only tried to give back the 4%. I sent them the 7 day "Where's my cash?" message but I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

Could be slightly off topic. I bought tickets at Orbitz using this great deal and I am try to setup MDE now.
I booked my hotel at a Walt Disney Resort for Aug'14, and I already linked my hotel reservation and park tickets at MDE.
However when I try to add FastPass+ at MDE I was getting the following message.
"In order to select FastPass+ experiences, party members must have a valid ticket and be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window."
Would appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this. Thanks!
