Ebates 20% back for Orbitz tickets

So I purchased tickets through orbitz, but now we might move our trip out a few weeks. Do I need to modify the dates with orbitz or will I still be able to pick them up a few weeks after the dates I provided?

I would contact orbitz to find out.

I think what they are doing is using their Target card (called a Redcard) to buy Disney gift cards and then using the gift cards to pay at the gate to upgrade their Orbitz tickets. The Target card discounts Target purchases by 5%, so they are getting another 5% off. I'm not sure what the pharmacy deal is that you asked about in another post, sorry.

If you have prescriptions at Target Rx, after 5 you get a 5% coupon that is stackable with the 5% redcard discount.

I think this is a bit of a mystery at the moment. Last year the voucher had specific dates you had to redeem within. This year the voucher says Valid for 14 days from first use. It seems like it doesn't matter what dates you pick, but not sure anyone has tested it out (no one wants to find out the hard way - haha).

Ok, so if I purchase the 3 day with 2 free I can then upgrade my ticket at Disney to a 8 day and only pay the difference from Disney's price of a 5 day to the 8?
Is the same true for AP? I can buy this ticket and get the 5 day price towards my AP if I choose to buy one? I want to be sure I can def. Bridge these before I buy them

Yes, I did this last year. Make sure you use the tickets one day first and then upgrade so that the tickets are brought up to gate price when you upgrade.

So, I understand the upgrade of the ticket when you get to the park.
But, I don't see the option or the ability to purchase one ticket "large" enough to cover the cost of one adult premium AP. As according to the disneyland website the current price is 669.00. But the "largest" ticket I can purchase at orbitz is a 4 day parkhopper at 285, where as the "largest / longest" available ticket on the DLR ticking website is 5 day for 300 bucks.

And I know that you can combine multiple tickets into one AP.

So, is there a way to purchase an amount close to 669.00?????

Why not buy a 9 day MYW ticket with No Expiration? It is $648.62 on Orbitz.

With all the questions about dates for the voucher it's making me paranoid. I am going to Disney March 15-21 and going to use my voucher to pick up tickets. But I will NOT be using those tickets until December. As long as they are MYW tix I know that they are not activated until you use them. Is there a chance that these are something other type of ticket that the minute I pick them up they become active? Or am I just being paranoid now?

I decided to jump in and buy the tickets....this deal is just too good to pass on! I bought: 7 x 4 day base WDW tickets = $2080
rebate will be $416
Wouldn't the 5 day tickets be cheaper? Just trying to make sure I'm buying the best deal.

Paranoid lol. Past reports indicate you are given regular MYW tickets so there's nothing that would expire until you use them once.

Hi guys. So I need an 8 day pass. Would it work if I purchased the 3 day plus 2 free, and then did another purchase for a 3 day pass? Would I get the rebates on both and would I be able to link both orders with my disney reservation??

Just buy an 8 day pass. Two "5" days passes would be 560 (280 x 2) and an 8 day pass is only 340. You get the 20% back through ebates on any ticket purchase.

Oh yeah good point. So is it verified that you can add this order to your MyDisneyExperience reservation so that you can do the early fast pass+ reservations?

I'm glad it showed up! It is a relief when you see it in the account.

Yes, it is! I love coming here on the boards and finding out about things like this. It is so nice to be able to ask questions and have so many helpful answers. I really like my DIS friends. :goodvibes

Yes you can do it. I posted how a few pages back. There is a thread on the theme parks board about it.

This has probably been posted and I have checked back several pages and cannot find the answer.

I am considering purchasing the 3 days with 2 free and possibly upgrading to the 7 day. Am I better off just purchasing the 7 day now or doing the upgrade when we get there after using one day?

Thanks for your help!

Do the math.

Figure out what your total OOP cost would be for both scenarios.

Take the price of the 5-day ticket on Orbitz and subtract the rebate from Ebates. This will be your final OOP from the Orbitz ticket. Then figure out the difference between the gate price of a 5-day ticket and a 7-day ticket. Add that to the final OOP cost from the Orbitz ticket and that would be your overall OOP cost to purchase a 5-day ticket from Orbitz and then upgrade to the 7-day.

Then look at the cost of a 7-day ticket on Orbitz and subtract the rebate that you would get from Ebates. Compare that to the overall OOP cost from above. The lower number is the scenario that you want to go with.
