Hello All! I just booked this morning and told the kids! Everyone is so excited! (DH-37, DD-14, DS-16, at time of sailing). I am dreading the cost of airfare but I will deal with that later!! Can't wait to meet everyone!! :woohoo:

Can I be added to the Fish Extenders list....now that I have figured out what they are.

I think I'll stop at the Auto Store and look for an organizer.

Where is everyone getting the images for the Door decoration?

I will add you!!! Theres a thread for the door decorations on the main cruise page...they have some great pics there!

Welcome! Just FYI there is also a thread for the kids/teens if yours are interested in that.

My mom grew up in Coshocton. I haven't been up to visit since I was like 16 though. I love the Armish country. Great food!

Same reason we chose the EB....hate to lose the 6 hours tho.

But the thing is if you go to Europe you loose them one way or another - the way I am looking at it is I will loose them gradually and be fully awake and on a correct schedule to hit the ground running in Europe. I would hate to do the other cruises or even the WB Repo because you loose all the hours at one time and be exhausted - by doing this cruise I loose the hours slowly and then can enjoy Europe.

If my hubby (hopefully not but you never know) is still in Iraq when we cruise it will be hard on him - flying home - one time change by 9 hours, then turning right around and cruising.

When we went to Europe in 2007 the plane ride over almost killed me - I was exhausted and in a daze for days.

I finally got my daughter signed up through the disboards so she can post now :)

did not want her using my account - gets too confusing

Krisann

I will have to help mine set up accounts so they can post. My older 2 love being on the computer so that shouldn't be a problem :)

You know I have been defending the EB TA on other threads. Maybe I shouldn't. I should encourage everyone to book the WB and maybe our price will go down? I can hope right?

We tried ahhile back to get my daughter an account . Even sent in the permission slip but it NEVER worked. So now shes stuck using my user ID. I hope it works for your daughter.:

Happy Halloween everyone!

I'll have to get my DD12 to check out the kids board. I cannot believe how many people there is already among the group. It look like a great group of families heading across the pond.
Enjoy you trick or treating tonight.......

Yes I got her signed up just fine - but she is already 13 and that may be the issue - some sites do not let kids under 13 be registered on their sites. even on dis boards there can be some questionable topics for younger children for some parents.

I have been looking at all the CheapAirfare sites to see if the DCL was a good quote....1040 for the Adults and 870 for the kid. Seemed like alot at the time. But, the best I am coming up with for April 2009, to compare, is over 4000 total....and this is only one-way from Barcelona to Detroit. So, I am not feeling too bad right now about the DCL quote.

I have decided not to worry about airfare till April - I also cannot book any rooms at WDW for the days before yet so I am concentrating on FE gifts, and things to do in europe when we get there.

I set up Athena (10) with her own account but lied about her age. Originally I had set up an account with her age but could never get it to work. I faxed and mailed in the paper to approve her use of the site but it never got approved.

Happy Halloween! The rain has stopped so we should be making it out to a few houses for some candy.

Welcome! I booked while I was on the Wonder on 10/23. I can't seem to leave a DCL ship without booking something. I have to have something to look forward to.

I personally think our cruise is going to be great and I started to defend my taking this cruise but I realized it is useless - they choose the WB for reasons just like we chose the EB and I would rather be with you all than them :) - especially since I get to see friends from the PC WB :) and just because there were sea issues 2 years ago doesn't mean it will be again - December 07 we took a cruise that had 20ft seas and everyone we talked to (Crew) that were on during the first EB TA said the december seas were much worse and I survived without being sick :) and so I figure I am game for anything and I am looking forward to the cool weather crossing I think it is romantic like the movies set on ships in the 30's and 40's and am looking forward to it. I have a pool and I can swim anytime (it is heated) and I am looking forward to the ports of call that are NOT where I can get to at other times on Disney.

HELLO!!!!

I think my husband and I will book the EBTA on our next cruise this Nov 15 (Western). We are concerned about the temps and/or rainfall in Spain during April. I also wondered If anyone knows how rough and choppy the Atlantic waters tend to be during the Spring. Also We are looking into booking a CAT 3 ( or at least attempt a booking in this CAT. We may be waitlisted! ) Has anyone stayed in a CAT 3 -1 bedroom suite? I would love any insight on the ROI (return on investment) of this CAT when compared to lower CAT's:cool1:

Thank You for your time:worship:

We promise a great deal of ROI if we are invited to your CAT3 for drinks and fun :dance3: Just kidding. (ok, not really kidding) (well sort of :rolleyes1

I've always wanted to travel cat 3. This time it's just myself and son, so it's not something I'd do unless the whole family was cruising. Maybe the next one will be CAT 3 for us. Good luck getting it on your upcoming cruise.

BTW, I heard that you do not enjoy the onboard 10% booking discount when you book CAT 1, 2, or 3 anyone know if that is true???
