Garden Grill has fresh veggies ... just dont eat the fried catfish haha
Most nicer places offer salmon which is REALLY good for dieters as its high in protein. Just ask for any sauce to be placed on the side
I am against buffets for weight loss... completely against them. Most buffets are full of starches to fill up guest on the "cheaper" foods.
Also, you tend to eat a lot more at a buffet.
There is nothing wrong with ordering steak for lunch or an early dinner. Just don't get the french fries or tators with it

steak has tons of protein and your body will need the extra protein for all of the walking. Make sure to cut the fatty stuff out before eating it though....
No matter where you eat here are some basic guidelines about losing weight and meals:
1. eat slowly... chew your food like 10 times before swallowing. The slower you eat the better chance your brain connects with your gut telling you your full.
2. If you plan on snacking between meals, snack ONLY on fruits and veggies.
3. Don't skip meals! This sets you up to smelling the fudge over on main street and wandering your behind over in that direction..... even though I don't have the exact numbers in front of me.. I am sure a 1/4 pound of that PB fudge has more calories than a full bacon and eggs breakfast
4. Do not drink while eating. This is one of the hardest to get used to but its one of the best tips! You can drink while waiting for your meal if you must but once you start eating, try to drink as little as possible. Liquid washes food through your tummy faster! The less you drink, the longer you will stay full and the less chance of getting the munchies.
5. Stay far far away from high sugar drinks and food. This puts your blood sugar on a roller coaster and you will be hungry much faster.
