Just decided to go to MNSSHP on Oct. 2 (we're already doing Oct. 5), and of course it's hard to get a dinner ADR. I got an early ressie - 4:50PM - at Concourse, which we like, but I'm a bit leery of taking DD somewhere like that all decked out in her fruit bat costume. :goodvibes

Should we take a late (8:30ish) ressie at LTT instead? Will we miss much if we have to stop and eat in the middle of all the fun?

I'd stick with the early adr, you don't want to miss the party you pid for while eating. I would also think a lot of people will be around in costume, so I would not worry, I bet she will look georgous as a fruit bat!

Don't worry about the fruit bat. We'll be there on the 5th and they will see a bobby soxer and a female pirate girl. Concourse is very low key and kid friendly. We usually dine there at least once each visit whether we are staying at the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian or the Yacht Club. This time we're actually staying at US/IOA and driving over to dine there and attend the party.

we were planning on stuffing our costumes in a backpack & changing after dinner...planning on getting to park around 1 or 2:00 p.m., then dinner around 5:30 p.m. @ LTT.

actually, I'm embarassed to be seen walking thru resort to catch the bus in my minnie mouse costume...

really hope there's lots of adults decked out too.:thumbsup2

we eat before the parties so we can enjoy all the events that take place, if we get hungry later you can always find a snack....

The eary time for sure! We will be eating at LTT before the party begins and we had ADRS for 4:15pm. I know I don't want to miss a thing and I want the eating out of the way before 7:00pm! :)
