Okay - seeing the WS thread below made me start thinking about this.

We used to do this a long time ago and I'm wanting to try it with our friends on our next trip.

It's not as gluttonous as it sounds. We buy one or two food OR drink items at each Pavilion and all 4 of us share. Leftovers are okay and can be tossed. Start in Mexico, end in UK, 4-5 hours to complete the task.

What would you buy in each pavilion? What is your favorite food/drink? I haven't done this in 20 years.

I think you'll be surprised how many people do this (they have a whole festival built around it). Ideally, the best time to do this would be during the Food & Wine Festival in the fall, but from what I've read on here, desserts are popular year-round, especially the School Bread & Rice Cream in Norway, Kaki Gori in Japan, and pastries and Grand Marnier Slushies in France.

Have fun. I think it's a great idea! :goodvibes

This is a frequent topic on the board and one that you are not alone in enjoying, myself included:thumbsup2 I start the other direction however, in UK with a Bass beer, to be followed by a Grey Goose slushie in France. Doing this at food and wine is a challenge, because there are so many more options that usual. The key is to pace yourself:rotfl:

We're going in January so we'll have to stick with basic choices.

I knew about the Grand Marnier Orange Slushies in France. Maybe we'll get one of those and one crepe and split it between the four of us.

Mmmm.
