Alright I have a good list on some restaurants i'm going to try. There all in wdw resorts, my question if i'm in a park mgm, mk, how easy is it to get to boardwalk to go to the flying fish. is it just a bus ride or what?

You should post over at the transportation forum too.... but here is some notes:

In general, you can't get directly from one park to the other, or one resort to the other, using Disney transportation.

From MGM to Boardwalk (or Yacht and Beach Club) you can walk or take the boat. Same from Epcot to BWI, Y&BC...using the International Gateway.

From MK to Boardwalk area, take the bus from MK to Boardwalk.

You need to use a park or resort as a transfer station when going from one place to another. Sounds like a hassle but it is really not. In your example from MK to get to Boardwalk you would need to take a bus to a resort in the Boardwalk Epcot area like Beach Club. Or you could take the monorail to the TTC and transfer to an Epcot monorail. Go into Epcot and leisurely walk to the backside of Epcot. Take the boat over to the Boardwalk and you will be there. Sounds like a hassle and it does take some time. Prepare for this with any PS and keep it in mind. Plan your day. Here the best option is to tackle the PS for the Boardwalk from MGM. You simply walk out of the park and veer left to the boat dock. Take the boat to Boardwalk and you are there. It would take no time. See how different it would be if you are in MGM and not MK? It is things like this that you need to prepare for in planning.

The best thing to do is schedule your restaurants around what theme park you will be in. If you want to eat in the Boardwalk area it's better to be coming from Epcot or the Studios. In both these cases you can walk...very short walk from Epcot, like 5-10 minutes, longer from the Studios, maybe 15-20 minutes. You can also take the Friendship boats that travel between Epcot and the Studios all day. They stop at the Boardwalk, Beach/Yacht clubs and Swan/Dolphin along the route. They are slow but a nice relaxing ride if you are in no hurry.
Same strategy if you want to eat at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts. Plan on the MK that day and it's easy to get to any of these resorts.
You really don't want to be in (for example) the Magic Kingdom and go to the Boardwalk for a meal unless you then plan on going to Epcot or the Studios after you eat. To head over there just to eat would take a large amount of time since there are no resort to resort buses.
