Hi all - felt like I owed it to you all to let you know that we're all okay.

No one is sick or anything like that. Some circumstances just came up and it didn't work out. I'm still super bummed. Nothing worse than unpacking a packed and ready to go suitcase, emailing your TA to cancel your vacation and her having you confirm three times because you won't get anything back, and tossing aside your first ever sewing project (spent a month on that Fish Extender...) as it will never be used. Going through some personal stuff and doing pretty lousy. Just trying to be happy for all those people on the cruise right now enjoying their day at sea. Instead, I'll be at work. Also getting really tired of people saying, "Oh, I thought you were supposed to be gone?" or "Oh you're back, how was your trip? I bet you had such a great time..." Ughh. So ready for that to be over.

Hoping to be back with good news someday. Appreciate all the nice thoughts and prayers. Hope all your vacation planning goes well and you all have great trips and memories.

I haven't been on the boards in awhile... As I was logging in, you were the one on my mind and I couldn't wait to see how things were going. I am SOOOO sorry things didn't work out for you.
