Fun update. Perhaps during my semi-solo excursion in October, I'll get to that many parks in one day, but I doubt it. I have to say I am super impressed at how quickly you've gotten this trip report done. I'm still slugging through mine and we went back in July.

When do you leave for the Poly? It is super selfish of me to admit that I'm really looking forward to your Poly pics?

I would like to have this one done before I leave but I don't think it will happen. Much like the last TR, I will probably have an update or two left when I leave.


I am actually staying at SSR and AKL this trip but doing NYE at the POLY. I will be sure to take many pictures, especially of the Poly.

The first time I did 4 parks I was wondering if I would make it. Of course I only dipped into MK for the pins so now sure if it really counts but I can hit all 4 pretty easily now and kind of surprise myself when I do it without realizing it.

Animals are so funny -- it just tickles me that the horse knows when the show is about to end and when he will need to get ready. It never ceases to amaze me that when I put my coat on, the dogs head to the back door -- they know that means we are going outside without me saying a word.

Cute monorail decals. Did you put one of them on your car?

I quickly made my way over to TSM. Being the weekend I was hoping to find Ed. I was lucky- he was out at the FP machines. He came over when my AP was not working … again.

He blessed me with several FP to use and then to put the cherry on top he was nice enough to send me in right away. I felt so special.

Once again I went up the right side.

In no time I was here.

I picked up one of these just in case I needed it.

The wait time would go from 40 minutes to 10 minutes throughout the day so I played it safe.
I walked over to Indiana Jones. I have not seen this show in a while and I was waiting until it was cool enough to be In the theater.

Thanks Rosie. I am all checked in for my Southwest flight and 90% packed. Last minute stuff is really all that is left.

I am so sorry you are sad. I hope you take time to celebrate her life, not just mourn her passing.

I am sure like anyone, you do it enough times you have it memorized. It was alomost as though the horse was an actor right along with the show. It is hard to explain but interesting to watch.

I hopped aboard a bus and dropped off my loot in the room. I wanted to get Movies and Music and missed the baseball section of sports.

I figured I was all ready to get back to a park so I cut through the building here.

Park #4- It was open late tonight, until 6 I think.

My first order of business was to once again get a new AP. I had Pluto twice and twice he has flaked on me. This time

I hope Goofy treats me better.

As I pass through Discovery Island, I spy something new.

Hmmmm. Never seen FP for FOLK. I wonder. The little voice ( Jiminy Cricket) told me to get a FP for FOLK maybe it was a test. Maybe, just Maybe something special will happen!

I had time to Spend in Dinoland which was my goal.

This time I think I got the whole formula in

I get down to Camp Minnie Mickey and realize I need to make a pitstop before the show.

I walk back and see the FP entrance to the show. This was on the other side of the theater from where you normally would enter. I realize that I am now being seated where the float with the swing comes out.

The very swing MY MONKEY swings on when it comes out. I should get a great view this time.

And “my monkey" is not performing tonight. But I was right I was Sooo close to the swing on Pumbaa’s float.

By taking in that show I had to forgo one last ride on EE and/or one last safari. I was bummed that my monkey was not there because I had a killer seat to see him up close. Maybe that is for the best then.

I went to the room and wanted to watch Amazing race so I did. Remember those FP that ED gave me??? DHS was having EMH so I would make it back there.
About 8:30 ( delay from Football) I was heading back to DHS.
I see a bus as I walk out and see a couple at the door. The Bus unloads so I hustle up and watch these people talk to the driver and then walk away. Then I walk up and I have to knock on the door. She opens it and tells me she is only dropping off because the park is closed.

WHAT?!?!?!

The wonderful obedient Northern girl I am I say……

“ No it’s not, it has EMH tonight.” She was a bit stunned. She says “ Let me check.” Lady you just came from there, DID it LOOK CLOSED? ( I didn’t say that, I do have a filter) She looks at a paper and then says what everyone should always say


“ You know, you are right” Then she became concerned because by now the couple who apparently wanted to also go to DHS was gone. OOPS
I boarded the bus and we were on our way. After we dropped people off at Music and Movies .

I didn’t snub Bo this time.
