This week has been a busy one, outside work that is.

High school swim season has started so that has taken up 2 nights and between covering a closing shift for a fellow staff member and then volunteering at shool one afternoon, it has been busy.


Hopefully late this afternoon or tonight I will continue my saga of

As I begin to leave I see cloud to cloud lightning.

Crazy clouds

Trying to capture the lightning in the clouds is nearly impossible. I give up and venture out front to catch the bus to the front of EPOCT.

Out of the 78 shots I took those 7 actually had some lightning. It was here I discovered my camera time stamp was set wrong.

I made my way to EPCOT and I decide to have a PP take my picture to commemorate the sundress.

My goal was to get food at La Cantina and watch Illuminations in the eating area.

Pit stop first

It is always so eerie in there.

This little barrier is all that is keeping me from exploring the rest of the pavilion. Don’t worry I did not explore this night.

Ah yes it was 8:30 and I was trying to get nachos at the Cantina and sit an eat them in that are to see Illuminations. Am I crazy??

Of course I was. Only a thousand other people were doing the same thing. I finally got my food and actually found a seat.

My view was terrible but I didn’t care. You can’t see the high fireworks from the seating area unless you are right by the railing and I wasn’t. I really like the music more than the actual show so I hummed along while I ate and watched what I could. No pictures because both hands were busy with those nachos.


It is EMH so next time we tour in the dark.

So, the photos of the lightening you took ?? I had my eye on the heavy guy there sitting on the chain between those two posts. I scrolled in anticipation of him busting it and busting his tush, but disappointment reigned.

I'm still amazed that chain was holding him up.

Thank you. I need to get some weight off but I have already gotten 25lbs off. I hit a plateau and I have not been able to overcome it yet. I need to get a good stretch of good weather and some time to continue to run but the hip issue continues to make me slow down.

I guess I was so focused on looking up I didn't see him.
That would have been funny to be shooting up at the sky and suddenly have him on the ground. Not as special as a princess on the castle picture Tim got but a lucky shot.

A couple did come to share the table with me but I don't think they spoke very much English. They ate quickly and then left.

I was no where near the water, and since everyones attention was focused on the water, I don't think anyone really noticed. I at least was facing the water.


I wish the PP lady had not used the flash on the camera. She really washed out most of the picture, like my face.


The lightning never got any worse than that. Lots of flashing but no rain.

I did not see that guy until it was pointed out. I was too busy looking up.
A thing about those dresses. I got a small and it is loose. With Jill being so thin she would have to try it on to make sure it was not too too loose.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marv this evening. He was in my town for Andrew's soccer tournament.

We mat at a local mall at the Disney store. We had a great talk.

MArv, I enjoyed our time together and next time you are in town we will have to go to Wan Fu!
