Maybe you can answer a question about upgrading?

I currently have AP's for all of us that expire next Sept.
I will have 2 sets of 2day tickets for each of us by next August.
Can you add the two together to go towards another AP?
Equals out to 4days each.

They'll only let you use one ticket towards the renewal or purchase of a pass. Been there, done that

Pop is still your favorite. Trust me.
The AoA will be nice but the powers that be at Disney have caught on and Pop as well as AoA are now higher than All Stars.

I will have to stay there someday , if only for a weekend night or two.



Pull out couch has to be more comfortable than say - the floor in EE.

Hmmm...Pop more expensive....I'm becoming quite the master of creative budgeting so All Stars might get a visit from the Sweaty Asian...

I can sleep ANYWHERE and sadly, I probably have slept pretty much every and anywhere...

Now about that ticket I grabbed. During the Side Effect year, I had a free dining trip. You had to buy a 2 day ticket. I bought one for Chris and myself and upgraded his to 8days with hopping. We also have some 10 day WPM no expiration passes which for that trip held his DQ passes. I held onto my 2 day basic ticket for this moment.

I did what all good DISers do and used the ticket to activate it for the current price and then went to guest services to upgrade. I got a young CM who was a bit confused as to what to do.

He had to take my pass and upgrade it to an annual pass with the DVC discount. This apparently was not as easy as it seemed. The new rule about upgrading it within 14 days was an issue but it was unused until today. He got some help and we got it done. Then the experienced CM realized something as it was printing.
The expiration date would be 1 year from the original date of the original ticket. Sept 11 2010. Yup already expired.
Luckily he thought of it and looked for it. So another transaction to fix that ticket and finally at 1pm I am stepping out of Guest Services.

Not upset at all and like I commented to the young CM, I was glad I gave him the opportunity to learn something new.

I remember seeing that and thinking how in the world did they take all that with them?!? And they're going to have a baby! Imagine what that's going to look like! I'm with Pat, once the kiddos are old enough to schlep their own stuff around that's what they did. Mackenzie had her own little tiny backpack that had her sippy cup, diapers or pulls-ups when the time came, wipies, and anything else she might have needed or wanted. She carried it around so I didn't have to carry a diaper bag any longer than I had to. Dan, did y'all really end up using all that stuff or need it in the end? No, really? I'm not trying to be a smart butt.

I remember that picture. I know you know sort of how I felt. At least you could have Candi watch the bag while you ... lets say go to the bathroom. I have some more adventures with the bags later on and I can luckily I am a planner.

well the two big bags had most of our clothes with a few of parkers then you have parkers book bag for stuff to do and keep him busy while at the hotel room or on the airplane for the 9 hours each way. candis bag with stuff for us to do on the plan, the one red bag on the seat was all of my electronics. but we pretty much needed everything (it was 17 days total we were gone) and we did laundry at my sister in laws place as well to not bring as many clothes.

I guess I'll have to be happy with using one set and the other won't go to waste....it may make more sense for me to not get the AP again then.
I will probably be back on the "once a year trip" come 2013.
We are looking at adding a trip to Aulani or a cruise though.

I am enjoying the perks of an AP....I saved quite a bit on all my shopping.

Since you have a new address I would sign up the disney DVD and then "price" a trip and save it. Pin codes have been known to come of that.

Now my head exploded! I remember those days. We always had the stuff we HAD to bring- speical friends and special sleeping buddies and then we had the stuff that just made our life easier. But of course when mine were little security was a breeze and everyone could check 2 bags for free.

Leave yourself some time to get that transaction done. I saved a bunch and I saved even more when the CM gave me the Premium discount instead of the regular one.
