I chose this book for our book club to read and we almost unanimously disliked it. We read another of her books several years ago(The Last American Man) and loved it but I think the difference was she was writing about someone else in that one. I hate that whole self-centered poor me attitude. I may see the movie after it comes out on dvd but will not make a huge effort.

i didn't read it, I hate the premise. Some rich lady is given a ton of more money in a book advancement and she goes on vacation and allegedly "finds herself" blah blah blah. no thank you.
