Eat Citricos and then to MK for fireworks?

Eating dinner at Citricos(5:30pm) and then getting to MK for fireworks?

Can you catch the monorail from there?

you won't make the parade--you may make fireworks--but i would stay at the gf and watch from narcoossee's landing or the marina--amazing view and they pipe in the music!!!

Can we watch from Narcoosse landing without eating there? When you say marina is that part of the Grand Floridian? Not overly familiar with the GF. Really appreciate your help!! THANKS.

There's several places to watch outside at the Grand Floridian!! Narcoossee's landing is the boat dock to the Magic Kingdom and you can watch there for free!! You can watch anywhere there for free!! The Marina is right outside of the quick service restaurant where the boats are kept and you have a straight on view of the castle. I think Narcoossee's landing may be the best view over there!! You could also walk over to the Polynesian on the walkway and watch from the Beach!!

Another option, provided you are adults only is to make an ADR for after Wishes, say 9:00ish (given that Wishes is at 8). You should have more than enough time to enjoy Wishes and then either catch a monorail or boat over to GF. That is what my girlfriend and I are doing one night on our upcoming trip, MSEP is at 8, Wishes is at 9 and we have a 9:50 ADR for Citricos. However, if you are with kids, the 9PM ADR might be a bit late.

We have the same plan for our next visit, but an hour later. We have a reservation at Citricos for 6:30 and Wishes is at 9:00. I think we'll have plenty of time. Then again, we're flexible. If we get to Citricos and find that they're crowded and seating people behind schedule, we'll just have dinner at one of the nearby bars or lounges.

I think the view of the fireworks from GF is abismal.

Show up 20 min early for your ADR and you should get out in time to see the fireworks at MK. The MK is a short boatride or monorail ride away.

If you want to see the fireworks inside the Magic Kingdom after dining at Citrico's - just tell your server/waiter. You can be out of any restaurant in an hour if you want......

I used to work in NYC theater district restaurants. You could walk in @ 7pm and make an 8pm curtain on Broadway.
