Eat at Saana - Get Randall!

We had a terrific meal at Saana on June 23. We arrived earlier than our ADR (5:30 instead of 6:30), but they were able to get us in right away.

Our server was simply terrific. If you will be dining at Saana soon, try to get Randall. He was responsive, had terrific suggestions, and allowed us to take the time we wanted for our meal. He noted that we had our "Give a Day, Get a Day" buttons on, and he surprised us with a special dessert along with a greeting card that was signed by the African-born employees at the Kidani Village. It was a great touch and certainly a surprise.

He's studying animation and has worked at this restaurant since soon after it opened. Give him some dap! You'll be pleased with your service, I'm sure!

Did you let the manager know about Randall's great service? They usually only hear complaints, so compliments are a wonderful thing. And telling Randall's immediate boss would also help him more than a letter to an anonymous corporate person.

I'm glad you asked! Randall's manager took the photo for us!

Near the end of the meal, I asked Randall to bring his manager over to the table. Instead of doing that, however, he sent his manager over alone. When the manager arrived, we gave solid feedback about how wonderful our experience was and asked if he would take our picture with Randall!

1) Always nice to mention good service to a boos.
2) It does make the CM feel better.
3) But, it has not any reflection on pay or advancement.
4) These are union jobs and not influenced by good comments.
