Last night we had bratwursts with homemade German Potato salad, applesauce, and salad.

Tonight was fend for yourself as I worked from 1pm until 9:30pm

I don't know what we are having but Meijer has hamburger on for 1.87 so it's going to be hamburger based for a bit. :rotfl:

Busy day today for our family: DS graduates from Kindergarten at 2:30 this afternoon, DH and I still have to pack for our weekend trip that we leave for at 4 o'clock tomorrow morning :scared1:, DD12 has an academic awards reception at 6:30 tonight. So dinner is:

Chili Dogs
Baked Fries and Tator Tots (finishing up partial bags of each)
Diced Cantaloupe

Hope all of you have a fantastic holiday weekend. Stay safe and EAT AT HOME! :thumbsup2 (unless you are mooching free meals at your mom's house like I am this weekend :rotfl2:)

Woohoo! My grades are in for my first semester back in school after a 20 year absence... I ended up with two A's and a B+:cool1: I have a few weeks off and then I am taking summer school Monday thru Thursday. I will also be working 3-6PM every day. (It's much like the schedule I have now) That means 8 weeks of fast or crock pot meals coming up in June.

It's supposed to be 85 here today. I think I am making my DH grill some hot dogs. I want to make a lemon meringue pie too. The meringue has alluded me so far. Maybe it will be the day for me to master it?

The Queso Velvetta I got on clearance worked great in my crock pot mac and cheese last night. Looks like chili cheese fries are in our future:)

Saturday - Family BBQ - bringing marinated chicken breasts for the grill and limoncello :)
Sunday - Grilled asian salmon with ginger slaw and rice
Monday - Steak skewers, grilled veggies and tortellini pasta salad
Tuesday - Burgers, corn on the cob and tomato/cucumber salad
Wednesday - Garlic lime talapia, parmesan pasta, and broccoli
Thursday - Grilled panini sandwiches and fruit salad
Firiday - Pizza

Have a great Memorial Day!!:yay:

Tonight.. Birthday dinner for 10. 3 roast chickens, 2 large trays homemade mac and cheese, biscuits, huge salad, broccoli and store bought cake because my carrot cake was a disaster:sick:

Tomorrow.. who knows. I never want to cook again:rotfl:
