So tonight.. Spaghetti Pie/ Salad

Saturday... Steak (fish for dd), potato packets in foil on the bbq, and asparagus

Sunday.. Something simple. Driving two hours to take my grandma out for Brunch so maybe I will throw something in the crockpot for when we get home.

*Decided on crockpot potato/corn chowder. I saw someone else mention it in a post and found a recipe I have everything on hand for so Sunday will be a good time to try it.

Tonight we are having grilled turkey burgers with sweet potato fries and applesauce. I work until 6:30 tonight so it will be easy to throw together when I get home.

I made thes Hawaiian style ribs in the crock pot yesterday. I have to post it on my blog yet...if I ever have a minute to myself:rotfl: In the clearance section at my store I found a huge brick of queso velvetta. It should give a zip to my mac and cheese! Today is my 14th wedding Anniversary too. But my hubby has to work tonight boo!

These are some of the things I am making this week:
crockpot mac and cheese
cold tuna salad with shell noodles
Nathan's Hot dogs with beans
Chicken tikka masala probably over the weekend
fried chicken for Memorial Day

I need to motivate myself to eat at home more!

Here's what I'm aiming for next week:

Monday: L) Salad with salmon filet (hardboiled egg for kids), D) Red beans and rice with rice pudding for dessert.

Tuesday: L) Tomato soup with English muffin toasting bread, D) A friend is bringing this over, it's going to be Indian food from the slow cooker, and I'm making... coconut rice pudding. (Rice rice rice rice...)

Wednesday: L) Beans or mushrooms on leftover bread, plus more salad, D) Chickpea polenta with chunky tomato sauce and a big spinach salad.

Thursday: L) Donburi (veggie omelette on rice), D) Yellow split pea soup and flat breads.

Friday: L) Noodle soup with veggies and fish, D) Homemade pizza with pesto and tomato salad on the side.

Saturday: L) Barbecue, D) More BBQ, with a pound cake.

Sunday: Brunch - Roast chicken with green beans, corn, and potatoes, salad, and berries and cake.

Now I'd better remember this when it's time to go grocery shopping! (And, yes, we generally don't eat meat during the week.
