I am not sure if I will be on the computer tomorrow at all since it is a busy day. Tomorrow is grocery day and here is our menu for next week:

Saturday:
Chicken and Saffron Rice
French Style Green Beans

Sunday:
Meatloaf Muffins
Au Gratin Potatoes
Garden Peas

Monday:
Cheese Ravioli (carry-over meal from this past week since we didn't have it)
Caesar Salad
Garlic Toast

Tuesday:
Chili
Grilled Cheese

Wednesday:
Turkey Vegetable Soup from the freezer (another carry-over meal)
Cornbread or Crackers

Thursday:
Chicken Hash
Steamed Broccoli

Friday:
Chili Mac (from leftover Chili)
Roasted Corn
 
Cooking from scratch this week. This weekend I'll be baking bread, banana cake bars, and cookies for next week.

Sunday:
Rigatoni and meatballs

Monday:
Meatball sliders and raw veggies

Tuesday:
chicken enchiladas and black beans

Wednesday:
Broiled tilapia parmesan, rice pilaf, veggies

Thursday:
grilled bourbon glazed pork chops, crash hot potatoes, yellow squash on the grill

Friday:
homemade pizza

Saturday: stew and fresh baked bread

I had my first full day of work today. It went well and I came home to homemade pizza my mom made.
 

I just did my grocery shopping yesterday so I can share this week upcoming menu.

Last night (Fri night) we had Steak and shrimp skewer's and Broccoli and Cheese baked potatoes.

The rest of the week is no partical order.

Dorito's nachos - I just replace the normal chip with dorito's, we have been eating this for a while now well before taco bell came out with there new doritos taco.

Portbello stuffed mushroom with fresh corn on the cob - Finding the large mushroom cap sometime is hard but this week they had some. For the stuffing, Saute finely chopped onions and some garlic add in sausage, crumble and brown (we like a sweet sausage). While I am browning this I have the wild rice cooking, (I do sorta steam my mushroom cap before stuffing them on a rack with a small amount of water in the pan), cover the stuffed mushroom with provolone and bake in a 350 oven for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Homemade meatballs and pasta with salad and garlic bread. - I make enough for this and meatball subs later on I cook all of them and sometime I freeze about half for a quick meal later on in the month when I need a quick meal.

Baby back ribs, sweet potatoes, and a veggie not sure what at this point.

BBQ chicken with yellow rice and garden peas.

Hot Dogs or sausage on the grill with baked bean and potato or macaroni salad.
 
i have done terrible with eating out this week. tonight dd and i are going to look at my freezer, do a shopping list and have a plan. i cant spend like that anymore!!
 
This morning I put beef stew with beer and paprika in the crock pot before I left, so it was hot and yummy when I got home.

I finally got my schedule for next week so I can meal plan better for the next week.

Monday - Sunday's leftovers
Tuesday - Grilled Chicken/Mexican Salad (avocado, blackbeans, corn, lettuce tomatoes)
Wednesday - Chicken Stuffing Casserole with Green Beans
Thursday - Black Bean Burgers / Sweet Potato Fries
Friday - Pizza
Saturday - Salmon. Broc/Cheddar Rice and Squash
 
Ended up having BLTs, Onion Rings, and Fresh Fruit. I was not feeling well tonight, stomach was torn up from the pizza last night, and didn't think I could do the sauce that went with the fish. So, we changed things...

Tomorrow night will be the Veracruz Style Halibut since the fish is thawed. Next week will be shifted and changed.

Wednesday: Grilled Chicken with Lemon and Oregano, Vegetable Skewers, and Quinoa

Tuesday - Shrimp and baked catfish with fries and cole slaw

Wednesday - Leftovers

Thursday - Hotdogs with chili and cole slaw with fruit

Friday - Cabbage, corn of cob, smoked sausage

Saturday - leftovers

Tonight was supposed to be Cheese Ravioli and Chili tomorrow night...however the weather here is begging for me to change that. It is COLD today and tonight and will be warm tomorrow. So tonight is:

Chili
Grilled Cheese
 
I am having the Monday blahs! I only have 3 more weeks of school but can't bring myself to get going today! Tonight we're tailgaiting at the Brewer game. So it's brats and Nathan's hot dogs for us.

This weekend I made Aarti's Tikka masala and Trisha Yearwood's quiche for breakfast. Both are awesome! I will have to find some time to put it up on my blog.

do you make your own meatballs or buy a certain brand? I think i will try meatball sliders. Sounds good!
 
last night we had soup and sandwiches. tonight i have a whole chicken in the crockpot. with it we are having oven roasted potatoes and green beans.
 
This has been getting away from me too often...

Tonight - I am getting a hero from my favorite deli which is closing tonight :(

Wednesday - Hamburger
(I'll be away for a few days after this and will resume meal planning for 5/7)

This is going on the fridge when I get home...no excuses!
Then I'll be away for a few days.
 
tonight we are having breakfast for dinner. we are doing good so far. no eating out. friday will be an eating out day. i took the day off for my birthday and we are going out for lunch (but i will be using a groupon).
