This June, I plan on doing a drink around the world! Cannot wait to be tipsy in the world :upsidedow It is just me and a friend going, so we don't really need big expensive meals to go with the drinking (hate to see some  later lol).
There is of course so much to try, I don't know where to begin or what to eat! Since it is just us two, instead of getting a big meal, I was thinking of getting small things to share during our festivities around the world showcase. Small meals I've seen that look good are the guacamole or crab tostadas at the ditch, eggrolls at china, fish and chips at UK, Any suggestions for other 'small' meals to share or try? I do want to get something in morocco or france but all I've seen are big meals...Keep in mind we will be drinking too! :rotfl:

I really love Yakitori House in Japan. You can get stir fry, fried rice with chicken, or sushi rolls. It's counter service. The Boulangerie Patisserie in France is amazing for rich desserts and they have sandwiches too. The bakery in Norway is good (school bread). I still want to try the brats in Germany at Sommerfest... and I've never eaten anything in Italy. But since you're drinking around the world, you will probably stop for drinks in those places. I don't drink or else I would say maybe they have Sake in Japan... but I'm not sure if they do and if they do, I have no idea where to get it. Maybe someone can post some information, if they know..? I have heard that you can go to France, Italy or Germany and get a Wine Around the World card (not sure the actual name of it) where you get 2 wine samples at each of those 3 countries. I guess they stamp your card. It's 2 ounces each sample, and a total of 6 samples. You don't have to use the all in the same day or even on the same trip. If I drank, I would definitely try that so I could find something I like that I might not normally try otherwise.

Also, a trip to Disney would not be complete without a sandwich from the Boardwalk Bakery. It is a short walk from World Showcase, between France and England. I think it is better than Earl of Sandwich (Downtown Disney) which is also very good.

If you like Dole Whips, you can get them at the counter service at the Poly. In case you don't have Park Hopper tickets, you can take the monorail from Epcot.

If you are going when it is HOT out, they have a good snowcone in Japan and some kind of liquor slushies in France. Have a great trip!

First let me tell you that we did this 2 years ago. My biggest piece of advice is either plan on this taking several several hours or share drinks. If you intend on getting something in each country you will be drinking. We hit 11 places... and had 11 drinks in about 3 hours. Now I am not a big drinker but we basically ended up smashed. We did eat along the way and either had something from a snack cart or found candy from each country. If I had to do it again I would share the drink with my friend or skip half of the countries.
To answer your question we ate pastries from the bakery in France and shared the schwarma platter in Morocco.. we also had soft pretzels in Germany.. I know we had soft pretzels from Germany, pastries from Norway, shared a meal at the CS in Mexico, eggrolls in China.. and I think everywhere else we bought a candy from that country.

OK, I admit it, we eat and drink around the world on every trip. Great things to snack on are any of the appetizers in Cave Tequila in Mexico. We had the tostados and the guacamole on 2 occasions and they were great. There aren't many tables in there but it's worth waiting for and the drink selection is so much better than the kiosk outside. Both Norway and France have sandwiches that can be shared. Actually, inside the pub in UK you can get a couple of sandwiches or my favorite there, a Scotch Egg (sandwiches and egg are already cut in half so easy to share). I think this pub food is so much better than the fish and chips outside.

My favorite CS is Tangierine Cafe in Morrocco and we split a platter there; everything on it is very good.

Japan does have a sake bar all the way to the back of the store area with a huge selection of sake choices. No food there; you'd have to get it at the CS area.

thanks for the responses! i am definitely not opposed to having snacks for dinner too...cuz i do want to try to patissere and the kaki gori...
looks like my decision will have to be on what NOT to eat! lol
