I think for him Disney World is just that much a part of his life, so he's a realist about it all. He also has a sarcastic sense of humor. I find his website very helpful because of his realism. He seems to cut through all the WDW stereotypes of bliss and perfect weather to show that there are lots of rainy days and crowds involved too and if you don't plan for/around those things, it can be quite miserable.

I agree with you. I had previously read his site and I thought, oh, okay he's snarky and sarcastic - you know, kind of tongue-in-cheek, making fun. BUT, after I discovered he is a member here and read his posts, I now think he's just mean and bitter. He has responded to people's posts and questions on here with nasty, condesending answers - he really seems to come off as a jerk. I don't read his site anymore, and it's not about the site, which is fine, it's the stuff I've seen him post on here.So I've read a lot of references on here to easywdw.com so yesterday I went over to check it out.
I read 5-6 full posts and I have to say that I get the vibe that the blogger is mega bitter toward WDW.
I suppose it's possible that I'm reading that into the posts, but it sure seems like the blogger is awfully snarky about the place that they are choosing to write about.
I just don't get it. Why would you blog about WDW if you're over it?

really? that doesn't fit with the impression I get of him. I have no idea who he is on here so I can't argue with you as I don't know![]()
I can't say for sure if this is the case or not, but I do recall a thread about touring sites from a couple of weeks ago where one of the other bloggers (not Josh) was called out for a couple of dismissive responses. I remember posts telling him that he was being rude. Pretty sure Josh indeed posted on that thread, but he wasn't the one getting the "rude" feedback. Perhaps the poster you are responding to was confused as to which blogger she was seeing on the thread?
Idk. Just a thought.
And of course, as we all know, "snarky" is often seen as "rude" by people who don't appreciate that style.

I'm not confused. Len Testa is not some random blogger, as Josh is. Len Testa is the owner of touringplans.com and author of The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. And, I wasn't referring to the thread you are referencing, or any thread in particular.I can't say for sure if this is the case or not, but I do recall a thread about touring sites from a couple of weeks ago where one of the other bloggers (not Josh) was called out for a couple of dismissive responses.
