Easy way to get to Hoop De Doo

We have the Hoop De Doo scheduled for our first night. This is our first time to stay onsite and it will be at the Poly. We arrive early on a Wednesday and plan to do MGM. Our reservations are for 7:15. Can we take a bus from MGM to the Hoop De Doo or should we go back to the poly or TTC and catch a bus there. How much time should we allow for transportation. I read there will be a bus that will take us back to the Poly after the Hoop De Doo is over. Is this correct?

I would be tempted to change plans and head to the Magic Kingdom on that first day. You can then take the boat directly to Pioneer Hall from the Magic Kingdom. After you can take the boat back to the Magic Kingdom and jump on the Monorail to the Poly. Getting from MGM to Hoop De Doo would be a long trip. You could take the bus from MGM to Wilderness Lodge and then boat to Pioneer Hall from there. Timewise it's hard to guess since you would have to depend on the bus from MGM and then wait time for the boat.

The bus that goes to WL from MGM also goes to WL.

Actually, MGM is the second best place to start at in trying to get to HDDR (MK is of course the best). The bus goes to the Settlement where Pioneer Hall is. So, you only need to take one bus from MGM to HDDR.

Plan on being at the MGM bus stop at least an hour before HDDR. This is just in case you missed the previous bus.

And yes, there are still busses after HDDR that will take you back to your resort.
