Easy ?'s for POP experts:

Hi. We'll be staying at POP Aug 5-12. Two questions:
First, do they have ice machines on each floor? If so, is it free ice, and do they have an ice bucket in the room? I know, it sounds like a kind of stupid question, but I was at a hotel not long ago with no ice, and another where they charged for ice! I'm hoping to get a styrofoam cooler at the store and put some ice and milk in it each night for cereal the next day.

Next question: We'll be staying in two adjoining rooms. Will the same mousekeeper clean both rooms? I want to know if I should leave a tip in each room, or if I can combine and leave one envelope each day.

Hey, looks like we will be there at the same time. I've stayed in Pop once back in2004. I can't remember if I saw an ice machine. I can answer the second question. It is highly likely that the same person will clean your room. When we did stay in 04, we had adjoining rooms. And yes the same person cleaned our rooms. I remember so clearly for a not so great reason. Mousekeeping was cleaning one room and had the other one open with her cleaning cart. I was kind of ticked about that because I was able to easily walk in one room without her even noticing me. How easy would it had been for a total stranger to walk in my room.

Yes to both questions. Free ice on each floor and you will have the same mousekeeper.

Just got back from POP, loved it alot. YES to both questions, I think you'll enjoy it.....the food isnt bad at all.
