I don't know if there is already a thread about this or not but share a easy cheap recipe that your family loves.

I'm looking for new ideas! Tired of the same old stuff!

I think I've seen a few threads but it really depends on how you cook and what you like to eat.

I know I've been buying things when there on sale and I plan meals ahead. I dont do meal out of a box and I dont knock anyone who does its just not to my taste. I a buy a summer and winter share to ensure sufficient fresh vegetables and I also have a community garden. If you have space in your yard you could look into one of those at home.

But overall I wouldn't change how you cook so much as how you buy and maybe cooking a little more ahead when you get stuff cheap and perhaps freezing it for next week saving you money and time.

I did country style pork ribs last night and they were a big hit. (DH does not like pork but loved these)

4 CSPR
applesauce
saurcraut (sp)
and a little coke
Pepper, seasoned salt, garlic powder, ground sage, cinnamon

Set oven to 400
Put a little (to taste) of pepper, SS, sage, and garlic powder on each peice of pork
Put applesauce on top of pork
then the can of SC
sprinkle a little cinnamon on top
pour a small amount of coke in the bottom of the pan
cover with foil and cook for 1 hour.
(If you need more time turn down to 300 and let simmer)
It is so good and just falls apart!!
